You know what's bugging me?
The organisers of these here Olympics have done a fantastic job so far. To build so many quality sporting arenas and fit all of these events in a city like London is a quite remarkable feat - yet all they get is mocking. In any other country their efforts would be lauded, often with 'You'd never catch us doing anything that well' but as it's in our own back garden we mock and demean.
Really winds me up, rule Britannia. We're the size of a small state in the USA and we're hosting the biggest sporting event in the world.

You must be very easily bugged given that the mainstream media is overwhelmingly pro-Olympics.

What kind of contradiction is it to be having McDonald's sponsoring the Olympics anyway!!
There ought to be rules about sports promoting unhealthy fast food companies. Yes let's all enjoy the fantastically fit athletes competing at the top end of their respective sports while fucking munching on something that nearly 100% saturated fats and heart stopping gunk, not to mention all the sugar that's in the drinks as well as the food.
Actually I like a McDonald's meal every now and again but then I'm never likely to sprint 100 meters in under 6 weeks. ;)
