I've driven the M27 every day for 25 minutes to and from work for the past nine years, and some of the things I see people doing beggars belief. Mapreading is a classic one. Not just with it open on the passenger seat, but with open on the steering wheel and having a good old peer. Pouring tea or coffee from a thermos is quite believable.

Our lorry driver at work has just had a screen installed in his cab for when he's parked overnight, but I know him, and the temptation will probably prove too great.

This is a link post Image Challenege
Sorry for linking the site but I thought a revival might help get more votes for a new compo that doesn't involve music or albums.

(yes I have a suggestion on there but that means nothing. I think the one below mine is better)

**edit I love the possibilities of this suggestion: b3ta.com/questions/imagechallenge/post113013

This is a normal post we've had the cover-up suggestion, sort of.
with conspiracy theories.

lets be honest as well, not all image challenges are movie/album based, let's not forget the others we've had over the past few months.
At the end of the day the image challenge is what you make it. Using popular culture does have one benefit though, it encourages more
users who don't usually post anything to 'have a go', even at a simple letter change on a movie poster,
which is surely a good thing to get more people involved, and having a go. They only last 7 days anyway

/just my two penneth, anyway

(, Wed 9 Jan 2008, 13:17, Reply)
This is a normal post well...
1) I can't type for shit, sorry for the mistakes, as I say. I'm just crap.

2) I love the compos and the ideas are great it's just that the last 3 weeks has been of a very similar vein and it would be nice for a change.

3) As for which ideas get chosen. Well, the more people use something the more it will be used. (who for pointless statements) If the image suggestions only get 10-15 votes then they're not going to be used. If they get alot of votes then it;s more likely that some of the great ideas will be used.

4) can someone post something good to start dropping this thread off the board?

To be a horseshoe crab (they tend to have 1 large fontal segement and then a second shorter one at the back). I think it's more likely to be one of the Bathynomus species (a sea dwelling woodlouse) as the carapace and legs fit and they can grow up 2ft long. Which is an alltogether more awsome find!
