Have a trip booked for Iceland later this summer. Was planning on picking up a mavic pro for the trip. Although, I am concerned about being yet another tourist cunt with a drone.

Most of the tourist sites have a strict 'no drones' policy in force, which is fair enough given the amount of people.
If you take one, be prepared to go off the beaten track with it.

Reason I say we might have crossed it is that i have little memory of that particular part of the trip. We'd decided to explore the Reykjarnes peninsula on day one on the way to the hotel, but, it was gone 6pm by the time we picked up the car at the airport.
The run down to Grindavik went OK, but by the time we got to Thorlakshofn, the light was going, it was absolutely pissing it down, and our hotel was in Gullfoss.
We. Weren't. Stopping.
To this day I couldn't tell you if we took the road over the bridge and up to Selfoss to pick up the Gulfoss road, or if we went inland and via Hveragerthi (or Hurdy-Gurdy as my other half insisted on calling it). I do know that when we got to Gullfoss I was a nervous wreck from the drive (driving an unfamiliar car on a wet and unlit road, twenty miles from civilisation isn't a great combination).
Still, the clouds parted by the time we got there and we had a fantastic display of the lights after dinner, so worth it in the end.
Just don't ask how much dinner cost...

thank you for bringing this obscure film to the attention of b3ta users who would otherwise not be aware of it. Despite, you know, the multi-million dollar advertising budget and hundred of Disney employees whose job it is to promote this film.
The above was sarcasm, my true feelings on this matter can be found below.
You are worse than people who raise awareness of cancer. Yeah, I've heard of cancer and I've heard of Star Wars. The awareness campaign for both can end here.

I live long enough to see the gritty remake of the first three movies (1,2,3), with less politics, less CGI, and NO metachlorians. It starts with Anakin as a teen, and the Jedi more of an martial arts religious order, not some papal advisory bullshit. The dark side are rogue ronin, controlling weak societies and the Jedi fighting them, in understated, yet visually beautiful samurai style fights.
Oops - time for work. Let me know what you think of that scenario.

Will still go and see it, but the plot / story doesn't seem to be very original and still not keen on the look of it (colour palette, excessive cinematography). I think Alden will be fine (Danaerys not so much), but Donald Glover is going to steal it.

The film is still completely unnecessary, though.
I liked the Last Jedi as it dared to break the mould (a bit) and wasn't just slavishly rehashing past glories.
But that seemed to upset the fanbase who seemingly just want the same shit. So if this does well, we'll have more rehashing of the original trilogy themes and characters until everyone gets bored and the franchise dies on its arse in a few years having been milked like the udders of a space walrus.

As a public service broadcaster I genuinely think the BBC should make long form gaming vlogger videos on YouTube but presented by people who aren't sexist, alt-right or swearing all the time. Parents need this as it's what kids watch.

Why what is called TV Licensing is continuing to fund an ever increasing website is beyond the ken of my tiny little mind. Why all BBC content is free at the point of access to all when getting caught without a TV License can result in a big fine baffles my pretty little head.
