the thing I learnt (or remembered, it seems familiar but not) is that there are 4 "banned" issues of 2000AD
for dubious advertising/trademark infringement.

I do find it an interesting record of social history
how comics were full of "playful scamps" that all kids wanted to be like, which today would be regarded as little shits who should have asbos at the very least for breaking windows, stealing things, homophobic bullying and the like. (hence my picture yesterday)

And the slippers they'd get, don't forget those.
I tried finding images of slippers - i.e. Dennis getting a smack for being naughty - but nothing, maybe due to it being unacceptable today.
Your picture was a piece of class though and a good point well made!

There is a picture of Beryl the Peril being slippered
by her dad in Google image search. Which sounds really creepy when I write it.
I remember my sister had a Dennis the Menace board game where you had to avoid the slipper... different times I guess!

I just looked at that
The thing that got me was the bit about Walter having a strange resemblance to Cuthbert Cringeworthy - not really, they are strips in the same comic, written by the same people, who needed a 'victim' that noboday would like...

Hey, I don't know what you mean!
She's a little bit older than me, but I always preferred her mate, six, who was a goer by all accounts (I was a teenager at the time). Still it's nice Blossom moved on to better things!

My honest opinion of the Big Bang Theory.
Is that it's one of the very few programs I actually like, it's no brainer TV I addmit, but I only use the TV to stare at when I'v had a drink, so don't want anything too taxing! it's basicly Freinds with different characters.
Why? don't you like it?

I have to admit, I watch so little TV now
that most of it passes over my head. However *phone rings* -Is he safe? -He's invisible. How more safe do you want? -What about his TV habits? -Fine. Big Bang Theory, which is alright. Few beers, which is also fine. -Alright then. Can he do the job for us? -I'm sure of it. *puts phone down*
I reckon it's alright to answer your question (thumbs up).

But locking them up for two years for a stunt that would have got them a rap over the knuckles in the West is a bit stiff.

A slap on the wrist?
I think you'll find the going rate is £18.60 which is a little more than a slap on the wrist thank you very much. (Peter Tatchell was fined this for causing a disturbance over here in a cathedral).
Excellent picture, agree with your sentiments regarding the stiffness of the punishment (insert own joke about pussies liking thinks to be stiff).
