Or is the internet not as fantastically random as it used to be?
Someone surprise me with something I've not seen online before.
No porn please.
Edit, can someone give my Henry Rollins for my birthday please.

I totally missed the wedding.
But after going through some pictures online, I have to ask, what's up with the hats?
Is it a requirement over there to wear such atrocious headgear?
alt: i don't know, ask your own

I'm going golfing today for the first time in over 5 years with my dad and godfather. On the one hand, being back in Fife will mean a decent course with proper contours and well maintained greens. On the other though it will take me just 10 minutes before I remember how bloody frustrating and difficult the game is.
What experience do you like the idea of but actually hate in practice?
alt: which character from The Simpsons would you have sex with?

I was just browsing the bbc website, and all areas are about the wedding and road closures etc. The Hull region headline was:
"Wedding weekend alcohol warning". Which sums up my hometown quite nicely.
Anyone watching the wedding? I must admit I'll be up at 2am over here to watch it.

GMoS was the most wonderful man ever to let you read his thoughts on the internet.
He was better than you.

Who do you, QOTW list as your internet heroes?

I've just had a brief meeting about tax with a member of our chorus who had nipped out of dress rehearsals for a forthcoming opera.
He was a very nice chap indeed, which was slightly disconcerting considering that he's singing the role of Hitler.
What surreal events have happened to you lately?

Now that it is official that Kate and the inbred kraut will be having 'True' by Spandau Ballet as their first dance, please offer your suggestions for a soundtrack to this colossal abortion of an event.
So far we have:
'William it was really nothing' - Smiths
and 'What a waste' - Ian Dury
Alt - gay out about what you are having for lunch.

who the fuck does that?
I know someone who does, and he 'accidentally' invited my other half to watch... she videoed it with her camera and now I have a quite an extensive collection of video clips of a fat ginger wanker. If only I knew of somewhere that would provide a bunch of people dedicated to making/remixing stupid videos...
hmm...

... and that is over 200, let's start again.
what is the dullest question that has ever been asked on OT or QOTW?
what is the best?
and to keep it topical - if you were getting married, would you "obey"? or if you have already jumped into that particular beartrap, did you promise to "obey"?

My taxi just went past westminster abbey and there are already lots of sadsacks camping out to get a good spot. Is this going too far? Will you be watching the Wedding and where/with whom?
Second alt: seeing apeloverage's next short story link below. How are you at selling yourself? Are you good at a bit of shameless self-promotion or are you more modest? Sell yourself to us... What would you say?

I am currently unable to not listen to Bible Black by Heaven and Hell at least 3 times a day. This happens to me sometimes with various songs.

What's the best presented brand/service/product of all time*?
Guinness has been fairly consistent. From what I've seen the British travel industry was consistently nicely presented in the 1920s and 30s. Hmmmm....

FOOD. I'm cooking stuff tonight - beef and ale stew and dumplings, making a big batch of garlic and herb butter for the freezer and making a marinade for 2.5kg of chicken wings. What are the staple foods in your house?

9.15am and there isn't a question? Why? Where is everybody?
I'm really bored at work, nothing to do, so I'm contemplating the idea of starting to write something. I used to write all the time before coming to England and having a busy live with work and stuff, but it's been so long, I'm worried I don't know how to do it again, if you know what I mean.
What would you like to try or do again that you're putting off because you are too worried that you might get bad results?
