Painting monsters
Hello there,
Long time lurker on old accounts that was too afraid to post. Wanted to post some of my art as it's good to get new eyeballs on it. I paint monsters and nationalism at the moment and have plenty of inspiration to work through.
I will now shut up, this is no doubt the wrong place to post these. I can't do anything right. I am sorry, moderator.

Thank you all
very much. The last 3 panel painting is based on one of Bacon's triptychs, it runs along a timeline from left to right with Murdoch, Cummings, Farage raising nationalism, 2nd panel is Boris and his cat-on-the-table gift of distraction, and last panel is Boris devouring his voters (based on Goya) once he's achieved his Brexit goals.
This reply is definitely going to the wrong place, I know it.
Thank you again!

Thanks for the lovely comments
If anyone cares, I come from a traditional art background but these are all painted on tablet in pieces. So for something like the tarot series, I paint each painting at hi-res individually and each takes maybe a week to finish. Then they're all taken over to the computer and put together as a set in Pshop and any type is added. That one took about 2 months to complete. The banknotes are similar but there's no way I'm painting the details and text of each note, so the backgrounds of the notes are slowly put together in Pshop with the illustrations placed in a layer. Each note takes about a week to make or more. Quite a bit of work but it is my duty!

bloke was fired over that
I mean, the bloke at the ad agency who set it up.
I felt a bit bad for him.
But apparently he was fired not so much for setting it up, but for setting it up and GOING ON HOLIDAY whilst it ran.
Lesson is: don't book a controversial project and then take a holiday so you're not there to answer questions from your bosses as to "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!"

google probably doesn't show much unless you go into internet archive - and even then it won't show the right stuff
it was a blog and EMAIL CHAT GROUP.
and this email list (80 or so people chatting to each other) - including me and Joel was the basic bit of fire I used to start it going. There was a bunch of us - all keen on making fun(ish) web things.
