This is a normal post The first trick was to delete all the hundreds of videos that didn't come true
The second trick was to snip the videos that did come true down to the actual date. Originally the videos were 30 or so minutes long with the name of the person repeated with dates for every day of the year. When someone died you snip the video down to the 7 second clip with the name and the date they died. This doesn't alter the date that the original video was loaded.

but I have been to his place on Southwold Pier.

One time I was there, he was there doing maintenance on some of the machines and we got chatting. He's a thoroughly lovely chap!

Some mates and I also managed to persuade him to give us a tour of his workshop, and spent an afternoon talking to him about stuff he was building, stuff we were building, clocks, his chickens...

He's amazing.

This is a normal post I thought that. It's highly dubious he caught it on the trip.
He had more than one negative result after returning. He developed pneumonia, as poorly geriatrics often do, a little while after his return and underwent treatment. Only then came the covid, after he was already sick, and hospitalized.

But, yeah, I really don't think he had any business flying. The question really is not why did he go on the trip, but why BA was flying. If they're legally flying, people will board the planes.

I can't understand why his family thought it was a good idea, even if it was a "last chance" holiday for him. My main issue is with the airline and Barbados govt. offering free flights and accommodation.

I actually don't blame BA or Barbados at all.
He could have said no. He could have said in a couple of months when I'm vaccinated. He could have waited until after all non-essential travel was banned.

The timing of doing it at Christmas, when we were all unable to see our families was particularly awful.

So we're in a maintenance phase. If a variant turns up that the vaccines are ineffective against, the research will pick up again, but until they've got a new target in sight it's only natural that the research will drop off.

The different vaccines work in different ways. We've got an array of ways to attack it now and where one fails, another succeeds. If one is shown to be ineffective, it'll be modified until it is effective.

The Guardian sells doom. That's it's angle. Nothing good is happening and we're all fucked. Branch out a little.

I've heard complaints from people that short films don't get ranked as high as longer ones (with more adverts) so fewer people are working on quick animations or short explanations and instead making longer and longer products. This does explain a lot of the drivel that seems to be going into stuff now and would explain why this guy isn't doing really pithy little 3 minute vids any longer.
