Come on now, seriously?
What practical use would you have for it? When you are at arms length the resolution is too low to make anything out anyway.

Now the world has gone to bed,
Darkness won't engulf my head,
I can see by infrared,
How I hate the night.
Now I lay me down to sleep,
Try to count electric sheep,
Sweet dream wishes you can keep,
How I hate the night.

You can make your own binaural recordings
by getting hold of a polystyrene head, from an arts store, and inserting a pair of clip on mics where the ears would be.
...wont be quite as good as one of these, but it'll be a fuck load cheaper and apparently you can get good results.

You can buy special microphones that look like in-ear headphones for exactly this purpose
This means you can be conspicuous, rather than carrying around what looks like a decapitated head listening to an iPod.

Binaural =/= Stereo
Whereas stereo only gives you left, right and distance, binaural gives the sensation of up, down, front and back as well.

Fantastic.
Reminds me of a program I saw on channel 4 a few years back. It was a history program about Hernandez Cortez and the conquistadors but it was hosted by a bloke who looked a bit like Denis Leary, he was never without a cigarette in his mouth and a beer in his hand. It was what I think would have happened if Oliver Reed had taken up history instead of acting.
Anyway, he rambled on through the history, staggering through the streets of Mexico getting progressively more pissed. It culminated in him gathering a group of native Mexicans who could trace their ancestors back to the Aztecs, dressing them up in traditional warrior gear then trying to 'take back' a fort. Much to the chargrin and bewilderment of the security guards on duty there. It was hilariously entertaining but I think I was laughing too much to actually take in the history.
Can't remember the blokes name or the name of the program. Unfortunately, as far as i'm aware, he hasn't been on TV since. He needs to be given a series right now. Any help in identifying this god among men would be greatly appreciated.

I hate all of them. This is begging for b3tashoppery. The obligatory pics in the betting shops/with cows/with market traders etc. ballbags the lot of them.

All it needs is the sound of
the Clash's Rock the Casbah in the background...
Or better still "Should I stay or should I go now? If I go there will be trouble. If I stay there will be double"

I've been lurking around b3ta since the start, really. The ginger fuhrer and I brushed shoulders several times back in old london town. Back then it was all T-Sluts. Proper old skool, I am.
