Bass solo with spunk faces. Incredible drummer who looks like he's barely trying.
Great fun. Also very unusual to see technically impressive playing being posted on the internet that actually has some musical content! Click.

I don't know what it means
other than that the "real money" proponents are going to be crying come the new year.
Gold prices show a similar story, only less pronounced. Maybe the fact that central banks hold large reserves of it does something to stabilise the price. I think the dollar might be in trouble though.

now that whatshisname has devised a cunning plan for a European fiscal policy without requiring complete political union. Break the Dollar hegemony, Go Team Euro!
The US has spiralling debt that is going to be unmanageable in very short order. They can only pay it off by printing more money, which is never a good idea. Zimbabwe, anyone?

I just had the wierdest dream ive had for a LONG time. Dreamt i went to see Pixar's Brave at the cinema. It played out like a day long, vast, immersive interactive exhibition about the history of animation that you walk, fight and climb through. Emotional spills, drama, presentations, completely made up (but familiar) characters, grotesque moments - a complete head-fuck. I came out thinking ' WTF - pixar are a bit up their own arse now, arent they? How can this possibly appeal to the masses, who seem to be loving it?', but it turns out i was stung by a porcupine with poisoned quills before the film and was tripping / hallucinating the whole time. Mental - all thanks to the 2 pints of magical dream-inducing wheat beer i had yesterday!
I saw the dog / porcupine link yesterday, and i guess it influenced my dream a little!

Just read his Wikipedia page.
Never knew he'd worked with Saint Etienne.
Seen both Chris Morris and SE in the flesh...the former at a Warp Records night in London, where he turned up wearing wellies, the latter here in Manchester, where they were upstaged by the support act, Broadcast (who I adore...still very sad about the untimely death of Trish...).
