I was settling down to my usual evening routine of reading youtube comments until I fall asleep in a chair when I came across this person 'figbat oswald'. After looking at their profile I still can't tell whether it's a crazy person (I have read stuff crazier than this that was written sincerely) or someone trying to make performance art on youtube comments sections.
The short version seems to be that the person thinks they get biblical powers by drinking piss and eating figs, and they spam various youtube videos with short diet-journal type entries.

probably eating only dried figs and a mango and distilled water and urine til 4:00pm then other foods. no change. intimidation still continues. there is some cunt getting around the library who is dressed like the dude out of "v for vendetta".

Just out of interest, can you explain to me why her idea of universal healthcare was a bad one without sounding like a massive cunt?
( , Thu 4 Dec 2014, 22:10, Reply)

Her view on that was as foolish as the current admins: it was never to offer universal health care, but rather completely change the insurance model in the US, create more government bureaucracy, and push money to partisan hacks and donors.
As the chief architect recently admitted, they had to hide the truth from the American public in order to pass it, and credited the passage on the "stupidity" of the American voter. With 1,200 + exemptions given by the administration (including UHG, one of the largest health care providers, and Nevada and Louisianna), the intent was never to cover everyone, or even the 35 million people they estimated were uninsured. To date, they are at about 10 million, and many of those were people who lost their previous insurance due to O-care and had to buy policies at twice the cost.
In the end, you seem so blinded that you can't see the pathetic nature of this video and try to change the subject, that to you everyone who disagrees with you is worthy of reproach. You get so far left, you end up bumping in to the extreme right.
( , Thu 4 Dec 2014, 22:21, Reply)

How you use the threat of these "socialist" reforms, which would put your country in line with other first world countries in care of their own citizens, to disguise the fact that, at base level, you simply don't approve of people you don't know or like getting any of your money. I just want you all to admit it.
Your wish for small government is not about the threat of a government meddling with your life. It's not about fear of the road to serfdom. It's about your disgust of your money being spent on people you don't like.
Tell me what the New Deal was if it wasn't resoundingly socially democratic. I think that was the last time you all thought sensibly.
( , Thu 4 Dec 2014, 22:31, Reply)

The war on poverty that you allude to has spent $20 Trillion and the number of poor has increased, as has violence and other social ills. Poverty and violence is highest in areas controlled by leftists for decades, like Detroit, Chicago and New York, yet the default boogeyman is always "republicans".
America has always accepted those from elsewhere, which has created strength. I would say that most people are not afraid of people like them, but see the value given historically and added states from territories like California or New Mexico with a population very different from that which made up the original colonies.
And I disagree: small government is set forth under the controlling law and liberty is an important aspect of America life. It may not be your way, but accepting othets' differences and being tolerant of those differences should be encouraged.
American's, especially those on the right fought and died for the abolishment of slavery of those different from the majority. Republicans passed the Civil Rights Act in the face of much opposition and a veto threat from the democrat president, who thankfully capitulated. But despite had Kurt Klum Kuan members in their ranks until the 90s.
And yes, I work damn hard for my money and believe my labors should be dedicated first to me and my family. Look at this recent police killing in NYC: the cops had a mandate to stop people who tried to avoid cigarette taxes and they end up killing a guy selling untaxed cigarettes. That lust for taxes to buy future votes is disgusting.
I'm happy to discuss this more, but find it boorish here. Feel free to gaze me.
( , Thu 4 Dec 2014, 23:13, Reply)

Social democratic policies got you out of the Great Depression and allowed you to rebuild yourselves after WW2. Working together you put a man on the moon, or are you going to try and tell me that wasn't funded by taxation?
You're so blinded by that belief in the American dream of the individual over the state it's hilarious.
If you can genuinely provide an argument for a house fire being better put out by private insurance I'll listen. You love socialism you just don't know it.
Until then, best start learning Chinese. Your time at the seat of the world is ending.
( , Thu 4 Dec 2014, 23:31, Reply)

I don't disagree that the government has its role, and the Constitution sets forth what that role is. As for house fires, there are some counties that if you don't pay, you don't get coverage. Those are public entities, but they make damn well sure they're paid for it.
And I agree, over the past several years, the country has moved more towards socialism. The economy sucks, the debt is 70% higher than 8 years ago, there are more taxes to address poverty, but poverty is at its highest level. Unemployment and those who no longer look for work has skyrocketed and black unemployment is at an all-time high. In those cities where gun control has removed a person's right to defense (Chicago, Detroit, NYC) scores of black men die each week.
Yes, you're right, the vacuum at the top has allowed the middle east to burn and Russian and China to grow unfettered while we dither about how much CO2 we can have.
Our time is ending under social democrats.
( , Fri 5 Dec 2014, 1:31, Reply)

The world is burning
Denial about climate change and hang ups about any economic effects to society, when your country continues to be the advocate of the super rich is one the soul reasons I get jerked back into a reality check when my brain wanders off due to stress. Russia and China are both hitting the economic crunch. China is beset with a middle class not prepared anymore to be dictated to, as you might have noticed in Hong Kong, especially about their health in places like Beijing because the air is so fucking crap. My mate lives there and posted a time-lapse on Facebook last week showing the darkness that is their air quality.
And Putin, only today, was telling 'his people' to knuckle up under the times, because of economic sanctions we put on him because he's been acting like a fascist cunt. I could go on but it appears to be two in the morning
( , Fri 5 Dec 2014, 2:00, Reply)

China pollution is caused by China.
They chose to undercut every other country in the world and basically destroyed global manufacturing.
The Situation in Hong Kong has nothing to do with the rising Chinese middle class and more to do with the Chinese state crushing the little democratic rights they have.

On the one hand it appears to explicitly reference T1 and T2, possibly adhering to those 'canon' timelines; but on the other, it's a modern Terminator, so duty-bound to be a stupid Snyder-esque prolonged music video of BADASS CYBORGS AND 'SPLOSIONS, with a hair-thin plot to achieve these goals.
