No man is an island,
Entire of itself.
Each is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thine own
Or of thine friend's were.
Each man's death diminishes me,
For I am involved in mankind.
Therefore, send not to know
For whom the bell tolls,
It tolls for thee.

It is too soon now but at some point, it will become plain to even the most strident brexiteer that the UK cannot flourish without being part of the EU.

We will have to go back, cap in hand, and ask to rejoin the customs union and single market and as a result, accept the four freedoms.

It was always the sensible option and it will remain so moving forward.

The best part is, it will smash the stupid idea that the UK still has the power of an empire and can ride roughshod over other countries by force of sheer arrogance. As a country, we will gain a much-needed sense of perspective.

But we must suffer the pain to understand why it is bad to seek it out. And that is yet to come.

By all means get the message out to be careful of the pricks. And I don't blame the coppers really, several of whom are bikers themselves.

But imagine this was a car meeting a car head on, would the message be "footage released to remind people to wear a seat-belt"? Nope.

the campaign that happened when seatbelts were being promoted/made compulsory?

That was almost literally what they did and that was almost word for word what they said. At the time there were no video cameras though so they showed the car after the crash. I remember the video of the person in the back seat turning into an elephant and killing their mum who was driving.

Crashes almost always involve a guilty party and an innocent one. If you are the one getting driven into, try to have the best chance you can of surviving an interaction with an utter cunt.
