This is sure to be a red rag to readers of Roger's Profanisaurus.
Slightly worrying that our dictionary is taking part in a cynical data-capturing exercise but there you go.
I look forward to seeing "fucksocks" and plenty more from B3TA in the final edition.

This is a normal post Fucking nonsense.
It's just a collection of sine, square and sawtooth waves at low frequency and overdriven (distorted), played one after another.

Your shitty PC speakers wont even be able to reproduce the fundamental frequencies, all you're hearing are the overtones (higher tones mathematically related to the fundamental frequency... x2, x3, x4 etc.).

Even if you use a set of expensive studio monitors, like the Genelec 1038b's we had at uni, which CAN reproduce the tones - and we did, nothing remarkable happens other than slight eye wobbling when you get near to and below 20Hz.

Not wanting to start a SNES vs Megadrive discussion (but by saying that I may already have...) I had the UK MD and I filed away the cartridge slot so it could take Japanese games. Magical Flying Hat Turbo Adventure and Gradius III: Densetsu kara Shinwa e were a personal favourite. I did sell my MD for a SNES, but I'd love to have a MD with those games again.

..."Virgin Plumbing" was told to change its name. I forget the first name of the plumber but let's call him 'Barry'. Anyway, "Barry Virgin" (his name) got quite miffed about this. There was no brand infringement at all as the logos and all that were completely different and I think he'd even been in business longer.

You may remember our other videos "Bale Begins" and "Period Piece" which I think were newsletter-ised way back when. Or not.

When not fannying about making those, we put together hour-long narrative driven sketch shows for the Edinburgh Fringe. Last year's was about a world where trains are hella sexy and disgraced former Secretary of State for Transport Stephen Byers was a bad-ass, hard-drinkin' son of a bitch. The year before that featured a grotty bunker thirty years after the end of the world.

This year, it's the secret history of Britain's Space Race. It's going to be far, *far* more low budget than this makes it look.

This is a normal post Is he one of ours or one of the Russians?
If we sold VX to him then that was very naughty.

On a side note I find myself wondering how they're going to string him up from a lamp-post given the absence of a chin.

This is a normal post There's too much of this shit going on right now.
People throwing their "rights" because they have watched some youtube videos, or read some crap on the internet. It's leading to lawlessness and no respect for the police.

I know there are some police who misuse their rights. But now we're getting to the point where they have no respect.

Let the cop do his job and get on with your life.
(, Tue 17 Jul 2012, 10:52, Reply)
This is a normal post Rights + responsibilities
