Foxes damn near live in the garden...we've had badgers, doves, wood pigeons the size of footballs and, at one point, a peregrine falcon tried to carry one off - couldn't even lift the fat pigeon over the shed, so it dropped it on it's head and buggered off...
It's a regular David Attenborough documentary every night.
Foxes scream quite well too - get two of them having a row and it sounds like there's a murder going on...
Then again, the murders are pretty quiet round here - consideration for the neighbours :D

I heard her running on a path to the side of mine and at the point that they crossed, I jumped out to scare her and came face to face with a large deer. We stood frozen for a second and then it leaped past me and plunged down the steep side of the quarry, into the water at the bottom. It swam all the way across and climbed up the other side and ran into the woods once more.
