Hilariously, however, I have broken this pledge approximately 62 hours before what will be my most difficult exam ever.

Except the coming back on 62 hours before your exam. Especially when I know jack about econometrics. I do know that currently it's nice and sunny out there at quarter to eleven and that night will fall at roughly half one in the morning or so (tonight is a calm night for me, I'm watching South Park and Yes Minister here. Tomorrow I plan on persuading a certain Russian lady to join me for a drink and music), and I know that I now speak about ten words of Norwegian, but not econometrics :(
Also, I don't know what's wrong with my nose. It just started bucketing blood. Ten minutes and a soaked wad of tissue later, it's fine but sensitive. Last time this happened was in a particle physics lecture eight years back. That was a shit lecture.

It's a shame that you don't know anything about econometrics because I'm pretending that I returned to the internet precisely so I could ask you about it. I'm not angry, I'm just etc.
Good luck with your Russian lady. And with your nose as well. At least you're nasally menstruating now and not when you're out with the Russian lady, eh?
I shall now return to econometrics (feeling quite let down, natch). When one finds oneself revising for one's undergraduate exam using University of Minnesota second year PhD lecture notes, one begins to suspect one chose too difficult a module.

I got to Germany and was told to tutor a course in diploma-level Statistical Mechanics. At this point I thought a diploma was equivalent to an undergrad degree. I had a very nasty shock when I found it's equivalent to a Masters, and that my Statistical Mechanics course at uni was fucking rubbish.
Anyway, best of luck with that. I *could* teach you all about general relativity, causal horizons, black holes, cosmology and the fundamental nature of the universe, but not econometrics :( Unless you can express it as an effective manifold endowed with a metric.
As for the Russian lady, I certainly am very grateful that I'm peeing blood from my nose tonight and not tomorrow. It's not the best look. Maybe I'll go and buy a red shirt, just in case.

A while back, when wondering in the pub how to make money out of the interwebs, I pointed out that the whole axillism fetish was woefully short of decent sites, compared to say, the multitude of sites for coprophilia and the like. Being rather drunk at the time, I came extremely close to buying the domain Armcunt.co.uk - In retrospect, I kinda wish I had.

I just checked as well. In the cold light of sobriety, however, I really don't think I could bring myself to set up a site dedicated to fucking armpits. It might be worth buying the name for a giggle though.

Just came to me as I rode past a van earlier today. Go easy, I was constrained by paint and powerpoint...
Now I merely have to learn to animate as nicely as your nail biting above :)
