excellent
the change if had positions works well.
careful you don't get confused with adam hughes!
as for T-shirt printing, it depends on how many you are looking to get done, i'm assuming you want them silk screened.

I know a mate who knows someone who does some pretty good screen printing
I dunno if i can be arse keeping inventory on a shitload of tshirts of differing shapes and sizes though. Ive not got a very big place. Ideally, i'd like to go with one of those places like spreadshirt or zazzle that print to order, but the quality wont be as good, and they'll be expensiverer.

A friend of mine who works fixing computers recently taught an elderly client to use it, and in about ten minutes they had managed to order all their shopping from Tesco. I think it's probably just a learning curve, and maybe they shouldn't have called it windows. I'm looking forward to playing about with it when I get my new laptop in a few days.
...if the elderly client had not been forced to use their glossy malfunctioning tablet as a heliographic sender to morse their order to the local Tesco Metro wireless solar telegraph receiving station.

^i find this
quite scary :(
edit: i think it's short sighted to assume people are not clever enough to learn to use even just a slightly more complex interface. also getting everything delivered isn't the same as getting out & about for helping elderly people to socialise, stay well & actively mobile.
& then on the other end of the scale there's a whole bunch of kids who just don't understand how this stuff works...

Does it reinstate the "Start" button and all of its functionality?
I SAID DOES IT REINSTATE THE "START" BUTTON AND ALL OF ITS FUNCTIONALITY????? SRSLY, Windows 8 is probably ok if you're using it on a tablet. It's a fucking nightmare though if you're using it on a PC and want to do any serious config stuff.

"the button will act as a method to simply access the Start Screen, and will not include the traditional Start Menu" kind of misses the point of it being a quick navigation.

I believe it can be set up to give you the All Apps view too
which is pretty similar to a start menu, except it takes up the whole screen - but at least isn't an utter waste of time, and learnable.
(gaijintendoRegular Member,

Learnable, but slower, less ordered and thus not as user friendly.
It feels like a cluttered desktop, rather than a navigation.
I ended up just pinning loads of stuff to the task bar for the sake of quick access.

Look I thought I made this clear already but here it is again.
I don't care if you can click a button and make 8 absolutely identical in every way to 7. I JUST WANT TO BE ANGRY ABOUT IT AND YOU ARE TRYING TO SPOIL IT AND I CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHY.

It used to be if you wanted to search for Windows Update
you would get no results, unless you chose an un-intuitive search sub-category. I believe that has aklso been fixed. I am not affiliated with Microsoft.
