because at the cinema there's a guy behind with his feet on my seat back, there's two women explaining the plot to each other to my left, to my right there's a guy texting his girlfriend and snorting at her replies, the seat I'm on was made by Spanish Inquisition Inc. All around me people are stuffing their faces with vile smelling food, slurping on drinks, the floor is sticky. The film was supposed to start at 7pm so why are they still running ads at 7.20 ? Oh and it cost £6 to get in and the film is crap.

We go in the Gallery at the printworks. Huge comfy seats, private bar ( they used to have leather recliners and waitress service at the Lowry but they stopped that so we moved ) you get to sit at a table where you can put your beer ( or free soft drinks, tea, coffee popcorn etc ) and not get bothered by others. Mind you even though the £13/£16 price still does not mean the film is not shit but it does keep away the hoi-poloi and their hot dogs.

The labour party are as middle ground as they have ever been. So, for that matter, are the conservatives because it's clear to anyone with half a political brain that the only way to win the minds of the UK is to get as close to centre as your policies allow.

I think the nazi party had slightly right-wing leanings.

Middle ground is the only way for parties to get into power these days.
And I hardly think the UK is about to endorse concentration camps for all the illegal immigrants.

They have no control over what I do as long as I stay within the law.
I've been to communist russia in the 80s and china in the 90's. You might want to reconsider how many freedoms you have. Just think, you could be in America, then you'd be in shit.

all in the name of freedom
and yes, I'm aware of how nasty russia was
and I appreciate the point was faecetious
but lets see how free we are in 10 years time, as it stands it could quite go either way

therefore they control you
plenty of stuff that you can get nicked for thesedays. Including the generic "looking like a terrorist". If they want you, they'll get you, and if you start to look a bit out of the ordinary you start showing up on "we might want this person" lists. Have you seen V for Vendatta?

I object to Britain being compared however.

this party has started wars and killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people. both used propaganda to justify their actions.
yes, it might be like comparing a small-scale serial killer with a mass-murderer, but there's enough similarity there to warrant a comparison.

I've been here two years. I'm very used to b3ta, as many people will tell you.
I've posted over 5000 posts, and I've laughed at jokes along with the rest.
The above post is merely an observation. If I had taken offense it would probably be considered good form to say "OMG GTFO LOL" and cry.
You, however, have evidently taken offense at MY observation, and as far as I'm concerned you can fuck off.
Reasoned enough for you? Cunt?

It is being printed out and added to my small collection of doctored pope pics that I stick on the livingroom wall to annoy my housemate.
