Wait till they all find out that we're going with DVB T2 in this country, and when terrestrial HD broadcasts start properly, no existing HD hardware will be able to receive them, without buying another set top box.

Serj Iulian
Credit must go to the original artist: Serj Iulian

Yes, I agree, it is a great painting by Serj Iulian.
The thought didn't occur to me that people would think this was a painting done by me. I roughly shopped out the little snowmen and shopped in the old lady.
I am not trying to take credit for someone else's work. I shopped an existing painting and I thought it might be mildly humourous. If people gave me clicks because they thought I painted the original painting, then I apologise.

Its one thing to play with others images for our own amusement
but the fact that you have tagged this is pretty lame. Sure, you've added the disclaimer now, but still. If I were the original artist and saw this I'd be pissed as a motherfuck.

I didn't claim it as my own art
I thought it was fairly obvious that it was a painting with a photo of an old lady shopped in. People shop paintings all the time and put their tags on.
I'm not making any profit out of this picture, so I struggle to see where I've done anything bad enough to merit such a response.
It's just a joke picture. The joke being, the evil snowman (representing winter) is towering menacingly looking down on a shopped-in photo of an old lady.
Lighten up.

Ultimately its no skin off my teeth.. just giving my honest opinion. You are of course correct that this is all for fun & no one is getting paid here, I just feel tagging this is a bit overboard as it makes it look more official.
But hey, what do I know? I'm just a serious business internet 13 year old lame-o.

I can't believe they changed that advert.
I can't believe they took the sexism complaints against "Gene Hunt" seriously. Bah grumpy grumble etc etc.

I saw a Gene Hunt calendar the other day. I also saw the most specific calendar ever. The waterskiing west highland terrier calendar.

LMAO specialist calendars FTW.
I love corporate ones and used to have a huge collection of very strange ones indeed.
Ironically I think the replacement Gene Hunt bit is even more rude than the first one. He now talks about his missus waking up to a large surprise...... before the picture changes to a boringly boring handbag.
A whopping 6 people complain and they pull the advert. What is this world coming to etc etc.

Previously. I notice b3tards is having a few issues. Does anybody have any hosting tips? I can't use the b3ta uploader as firewalls at work prevent me seeing what I've uploaded.
Most website control panels have a FTP shell that can be run inside a web-browser. You could upload to your site from work that way (I do this occasionally).

I should probably do this.
Sadly I am a no-mark when it comes to websites. Also, FTP gets blocked at work too.
Although, the most rubbish christmas I ever had was aged 13, we were snowed in for four days, with no electricity and no running water for three.

We were set up for power cuts,
We had an aga, a wood burning stove, and some tilly lamps, so a power cut wasn't a total disaster. Just rubbish to have such a long one over Christmas! It was probably worse for the guys who had to go out in the snow and fix it.
