Lots of R&D work, support, those apple shops look expensive from the outside.
I have no problem with companies making money. That is their sole purpose. Apple are no different. Looking at it I wouldn't be suprised if their was £100 pure profit per device max the real money is made selling you the music and apps. That and you will have to buy a mac because itunes is garbage on the PC.

The bulk of Apples profits are direct from iPhones
Proceeds from iTunes would go into "Other". It's not clear where proceeds from apps go, but probably into "Other" - and besides, there is no Earthly way they make the "iPhone" purely 30% of app sales at $1 a pop.

I was out on the lash last night, but yesterday 'Drunken Miss Hopeless' said "If you're up to it, Whoopi Goldberg and Art Malik for tomorrow". The only other one I have added today is Tracy Scoggins as she has lovely norks a very nice top on.
* Now, does anyone have any good hangover cures please?
(Wobbly BlokeHello, did I miss anything on,

The best hangover cure is breathing from a tank of oxygen. It actually works.
The accessibility of which depends on how many scuba-diving supplies shops near you are open on Sunday mornings.
Any progress on the Larry "Wild Man" Fischer front?

Having an oxy-acetalyne torch to hand is also useful.
But make sure you only use the oxygen tank, or the results could be different.

Larry's CDs can still be bought cheaply, btw, but probably not for much longer, what with him having copped it recently.

Failing that 3 crumpets, lots of tea and a day in the countryside with fluffy leopards. Should work for me anyhow.

Paracetamol and as much coffee as I drank alcohol last night, followed by a full English breakfast with crumpets. Then pop to the scuba-diving shop for oxygen while heading out for a day in the countryside with fluffy leopards.

Two good ones are a big bowel of spicy noodle soup
has to be simple with a clear soup and just veggies and some chicken.
Or my hangover stew. New potatoes parboiled, chorizo, paprika, onions and garlic all cooked in tomato and basil soup for about 20 minutes. Works a treat.

A nearby supermarket used to sell a hangover drink.
Unfortunately it didn't really work, and not only that but it smelt and looked like piss. Last thing I would want to try and drink if I already felt pretty sick. For hangover you need to replace missing salt and fluid. Best thing I've found are those soluble orange vitamin C tablets, couple of those in a big glass of water seem to work well for me. Think the vitamin C does something as well. Otherwise try one of those poncey isotonic sports drinks like powerade.

though it was something like the 4th image posted to the challenge. it had a profound impact in shaping people's approach to this challenge, stretching the boundaries of "colouring the lizard" to include a bold mixture of psychedelia, popular culture and cutting satire, and i don't think it's too much to declare that the undoubted success of this challenge - for there have been numerous successes - can be traced almost entirely and directly to this image.
i never even entered it into the challenge! i must say, that rather takes the wind out of my "it never even made the fucking popular page on the first day!!!" rant. one feels rather... foolish now.
i think i shall enter it forthwith. an image of such seminal importance should not go ignored.

as well you should
an image of such seminal importance is sure to attract many detractors -- consider, for example, the adverse reaction to williams' "a study of tractors" enacted in marbles, or cohen-aspidistra's daring "contracts and retractions through the medium of cataracts" -- but there will always be those of discerning taste and it is apparent that you are one such
