but it's another reminder that people need to take responsibility for their own actions, no excuses. It echos the message of this article:

Many people want to deny responsibility for how they treat their own body so they can abuse it and expect the government to clear up their mess. That's not how a country should function, shirley?

Perhaps a lack of a free health service will increase people's self-reliance. These food dustbins no-longer have the safety cushion of the NHS having to do what they say. "I want a stomach clamp!", "give me liposuction", "let me have that flesh-eating virus!"

This has to be one of the unavoidable plusses of this otherwise bad thing.

This is a normal post This is no lie:
I (and my housemates) had no idea what pampas grass means and had a big bush of the stuff growing outside our rented house. It was there when we moved in and we were the first student tenants to occupy the place after it had been sold on by the previous occupants.

On no fewer than six occasions I answered the doorbell to find either a middle aged man or a middle aged couple standing outside carrying booze. One pair even had a massive suitcase with them. They all seemed very disappointed to discover that the occupants were students who weren't having a 'party' at that time (3rd year & MA = busy, busy, busy). We were all at a loss as to how to explain this phenomenon.

Moral of the story: remove the pampas grass when you move into a new place.

(, Thu 13 Oct 2011, 11:59, Reply)
This is a normal post
Quality. We want to make something that looks stunning and as great as the 5D is for online its only when you directly compare it to higer end Red, Arri ect... that you see its short fulls.
2k plus will give so much more control of the image, especially in post & grading.

It's a good point though and we did have the conversation, it comes down to making something cinematic so we don't want cheap to effect quality.

Plus going for a slightly older models like the Red One's arn't a huge jump in costs.
(, Thu 13 Oct 2011, 12:05, Reply)

Fair enough. Personally I think the 5d does a stellar job, the last 3 episodes of House in HD looked better than 99% of other TV shows out there. The director on the 5D: https://twitter.com/#!/GregYaitanes/status/21834533316

That it does look good but don't forget its a 5D sitting behind some tasty Canon prime's and L series lens

Agreed no chips.
East End tradition has bubble and squeak fried till browned, that and the beans will have you farting brilliantly all day.

In Germany I had a "yugoslavian" breakfast after a night on the pop with some mates. It was recommended as a restorative : Brat(or bock)wurst egg, bacon beans, tinned toms and toast It`s almost a ruddy full english.....why Yugoslavian? Ah, I see..... with lashings of pear and apple slimovitz, oh dear here we go again.

As hash browns are American, surely?

I've had a 'traditional' Chinese breakfast on a plane to the far east - spicey noodles and they were the hottest thing I have ever had. Never gone for the 'Chicken Porridge' at breakfast though.

The Iranian and Polish breakfasts look fucking amazing.

Edit: Also, Welsh rabbit/rarebit is more than simply cheese on toast. You have to mix in mustard, eggs and Worcestershire sauce in to a buttery type substance to make it properly.

(, Thu 13 Oct 2011, 14:01, Reply)
This is a normal post I'm not sure I was angling for a "copliment",
also not sure that "obstinate" is a pertinent pejorative here (unless you consider my having loved easy-listening/cheese/lift music for decades obstinate). The (capitalised) "Cunt" is fair enough though.
However, this late-stage interjection of yours makes you out to be the bigger cunt, doesn't it?
(, Thu 13 Oct 2011, 14:27, Reply)
This is a normal post My post should simply have read:
CUNT.

Clearly you like to snipe with insults...easy to do from behind the safety net of anonymity that internet forums provide. Cowardly too. But, then you are a Cunt (with a capital C) as we've already established. So shake the sand out of your vagina....and grow up a bit. Here's a tip - If you speak to people like that in the real world, you would get a kicking. You wouldn't dare do that of course, because once again, you're a cowardly Cunt. You're a big man online though eh, Cunt?
(, Thu 13 Oct 2011, 14:54, Reply)
This is a normal post Oh gosh, I'll happily admit that I'm a cunt. Sorry "Cunt".
But no, I do speak like this in real life. However, I tend to move in circles of people intelligent enough to objectively debate & not over-react to childish internet memes; used in a tongue in cheek manner.

Long answer short- If I upset you, put me on 'ignore' thickie.

Also, as a rule of thumb: Posting anything along the lines of "You're a big man online though eh, Cunt?" = You lose.
