Depends on the Voltage and Amperage.
You could do a test. Screw in a 40watt light bulb; break the glass; lick your fingers and touch either side of the filaments. Report back to us your findings.

If you're touching either side of the filaments on a 40 watt bulb
you will receive power of considerably greater than 40 watts, since you're essentially bypassing the bulb and plugging yourself directly into the mains.

Yeah, that's not a great idea. Your response will be sent back to the server and stored. Your deleting the cookie off your computer isn't going to change the fact that you've already agreed to the terms allowing them to sell your info to everyone and their dog. It merely means the consent button gets put back in your face again every time you visit.

There are a shitload of sites out there where the "reject cookies" option is either unclickable or non functional (easily monitored by clearing cookies just before visiting and checking the list again immediately afterwards. If you really care that much).
Or the page requires 20 minutes worth of trawling through an itemised list of vendors on/off switches because they quite deliberately don't include a "reject all" button. Or there's the old "Don't worry, you can opt out of all this again by visiting this third party advertising preferences site."
Other than "just don't go on 95% of the internet", what do you suggest?

As I'm no longer paying for my Adobe suite
I did it by eye, the old fashioned way. It probably shows tbh. Just panning over a background, as in the Aliens example. I did a bit of research into analogue star backgrounds for anyone interested - on Star Wars they actually had a painted black dome structure with "star" holes made to draw in light, effectively like a Victorian planetarium, which they would move the camera around inside. Very effective. Can't find any pics of it, mind

If it gets everything done in a small time, then great. Of course, its being short often means that there're huge gaps; but being below the word limit itself doesn't bother me in the slightest.

And remember, the onus for providing evidence is always on the one making the claim, not the listener that they're trying to convince.
I'll check those out later and give you a proper response.
Edit: I have checked those out.
The first link is barely even about the guy at all; it mentions his comments only to frame them in terms of an inaccurate interpretation by a specific Vox journalist. It then heads off on a tangent about ultra-conservative politics in the 1970s and earlier (which is what the article is actually about). Milo's name is quite clearly just being used as clickbait in that article.
The second link is indeed relevant. And very clearly shows that his comments were a good deal more nuanced than that.

important reference
given the imminent deployment of trumps new w76-2’s.
it looks increasingly likely to me, that unless he can be removed from office, trump will find an excuse to use them.

It always amazed me that the way to answer the question
"How traumatised would our troops be if a nuke was dropped near to them?" was done by dropping a nuke near to them.

I grow
my own chilli peppers which vary in strength from romano peppers through to carolina reapers. I decided to pickle some mixed sliced peppers.
Can't eat them of course, they are far too hot. Even the mild peppers are now too hot from being in the vinegar with the hot ones.
I have refreshed the vinegar a few times and now I have some bottles of awesome chilli vinegar. Wonderful fresh chilli taste like you get in the really hot peppers and great on chips.

Some brilliant quotes in there.
"Peter Baynham (writer): I remember being asked to come up with names for racehorses for Alan Partridge when he’s doing commentary, and just coming up with demented things like: Trust Me I’m A Stomach. I was very happy and asking, ‘Is this actually a job?’ I was wildly excited to be able to have a job thinking up crazy shit. "
