draw around the item I want to be as seamless as possible and then paste transparent onto the original . . .

You can also tart up the edges with the blur tool in Microshite Photo Editor if you have it.

you can cut/copy stuff onto a new layer and then use errr "blending options" for the layer (I think it is) and apply a stroke; you can tweak the width, colour, etc.

trick with PS is always to use millions of layers so you can err do stuff

edit: wank.. I always read it as "Photoshop" and not "Paintshop", probably cos I hate Paintshop since errr version 5 where they changed everything and made it difficult

after the PPP kicks in properly though, all bets are off.

That said, the Tube safety record is actually quite good inasmuch as in over a century of travel, they've never had two trains hit each other. More than National Rail can say. The jismsponges.
