Back to the Future: The Pixelmash
Great Scott, Libyans, 1.21 jiga/gigawatts, and hi all..

Hurrrahhh! Fab stuff!
*Goes to put on Huey Lewis and the News*.

now you're talking.
my mp3 collection has more huey lewis in it than it has classical music and jazz combined.

I only have that one song.
As far as I'm aware, anyway.
(

i wouldn't go so far as recommending that you get any more
but I'm rather fond of "hip to be square", and there's another one (the name of which escapes me) which is EXACTLY like "Ghostbusters".

Remind me of this conversation in September.
Then I shall have 'real' Internet (as opposed to Uni Internet) and will be able to download musak.
(
CaroWallis ,
Sat 28 Jan 2006, 14:40,

my short term memory is shot to fuck
but i will try. warning: having "real" internet may result in the acquisition of a vast MP3 collection, the vast majority of which is utter bobbins.
(

I miss my (ever-so-legally acquired) music downloading sessions.
But you're right, it does build up very quickly. Oh, and I love the phrase 'utter bobbins'. I might start using that.
(
CaroWallis ,
Sat 28 Jan 2006, 14:47,

i only really run into problems when i start torrenting THE WHOLE OF THE INTERNET.
at some point last night, i decided it would be a really good idea to download the whole of "The Sweeney".

I'm simply trying to change the styles a bit for the different films
It would get dull doing everything at the same resolution to the same size, hence the ghostbusters with its multi-frame stuff, me trying for a higher level of detail with this one.. ..and the twin pines bit, just cos I wanted it to. none of the pixelmashes are hardly canon!

I found a very good book about scripting PS the other day. I was tempted to buy it, but it was kind of expensive and I'm going to take a proper look at the PS help files before I buy anything like that. It does look promising though - you can script pretty much anything, even path creation. Perhaps I'll actually get around to playing with it at some point.

I want to make pen-and-ink drawings and print them as posters and flog them. I'm so sick of being poor, and it's been getting worse lately. I ended up making more animations because I was thinking about making Escher-like drawings, on the grounds that they'd be popular, and in looking for inspiration I was going through my old animations looking at recursions and knots and things, and gravitated back to these intereference patterns... but what good are they, honestly? Bah.
