From Bob Powers' book, "Happy Cruelty Day:"
"October 1 -- Doodle a Cock and Balls Day!
You haven't doodles a cock and balls in ages! Remember how much fun it used to be? How many public school desktops must have shown your work over the years? Go on. Doodle a cock and balls. You can even put it on a Post-it and stick it to your spouse's forehead while he or she is napping. That'd be funny.
Happy Doodle a Cock and Balls Day!"
Let's make this holiday real, b3ta!

and does anyone know how to do that thing where you look at the posts you made that got the most "I like this" votes? I don't feel like figuring out how to find my old hosting in order to find the one CDC I did ever.

I'd like to take you up on that offer of a 3d shape if it's still open... what I'm after is a very smooth sphere wrapped with a flat, single-colour texture. I've already tried .obj format, so if you can save to some other 3d format I'd really appreciate your help.
Edit: the list of file formats PS can use is .u3d, .3ds, .obj, .kmz, and Collada

Sounds like you want a really high-poly count sphere.
But there are a number of ways to map a texture to it.
I'll make a few examples a little later this eve and gaz.

What's most important to me is that a) it's smooth, so yeah a high poly count, and b) that it has a flat texture mapped onto it, because that will show up as a separate editable layer in PS, but if there's no texture mapped onto it I can't create a texture layer for it in PS.

Barbara:
I received your email and I have no idea what could prompt such anger and vitriol. "Sick bastard"? I have never in my life referred to anyone in such a harsh manner and I can only speculate on what could have happened to you to address someone you know nothing about in this fashion.
Charity is very important to me - I'm a disabled man and have had the good fortune to be rewarded by the positive contributions of others. I believe in giving back to my community, and these masks were intended to benefit children whose families could not afford to stretch their budgets to include Hallowe'en costumes. Originally they'd been intended for friends with two infants but I made the masks too small for them so we thought we'd give them away. How is that sick? They are made of hypoallergenic material and took me hours to create as I specifically wanted to make a Hallowe'en mask that was neither too scary nor too bland and boring. That's what Hallowe'en is about, Barbara - being scary enough to ward off negative spirits while allowing kids to join in on the fun - you do know what the traditions and purposes of Hallowe'en are, correct?
The only sickness I see here is that a small-minded, petty person has poked her nose in where it doesn't belong and harassed and abused me. I showed the friends I made the mask for your email and they were astonished and indignant. "How dare she assign you negative motives for making these! She must be an idiot!" was their response, and these people, I remind you, have two small children, the very children who are now going to wear the new masks I made them (which are bigger and fit them). They also, without any prompting from me, showed the masks to other parents in their playgroup circle and not one person had any sort of complaint - a few were forwarded your email and they all think you are just a mean, bitter harridan with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
I hope that's not true. I hope, probably in a futile manner, that you simply do not understand that Hallowe'en is meant to be fun for kids (and adults) and that freely offered handicrafts are not Satan's work here on Earth. Some people have speculated that you're a crazy Christian with the common sense of a golf ball and that's what prompted your frothing and misery. Perhaps it's true.
For your information, your email was most distressing and hurtful. Casting aspersions upon my parents is beyond rude, and you need to apologise to me and them. I am not a bastard, and the sixty+ year marriage my parents enjoyed need not be questioned and maligned by shrewish simpletons like you. I am, however, sick - I have terminal cancer and your disgusting, hateful diatribe has done nothing to make my remaining time alive any easier. I demand an apology now and suggest you don't communicate with decent people for some time after this as your noxious behaviour and outlook may be contagious and pollute your surroundings.
Awaiting your apology,
A.

from what I've read on this topic is that right now there's a need to start using our resources more responsibly all across the board. If a new technology emerges, awesome, hoepfully the captains of industry will see their economic advantage in developing such a technology, but we have to respond to the situation with what we have at hand, right?

It's mainly on the toes and top bit thingy above the arch, but I'd rather not lose hair due to tapings at all if possible. Just out of curiosity, what exactly was the tape meant to do? I've never heard of it (not that I've ever read into it) but I'm wondering what kind of good it could be doing to have taped feets.
( ,

i may have to get orthotics, but physio guy first taped my feet tightly - a good taping can force your feet to arch properly. i do exercises now to strengthen those muscles, may not have to buy the orthotics. i was seeing him for knee/leg/back pain and he discovered the arch stuff.
i'm hairy too - at one point he had to tape my knee. he was very apologetic about it (he's hairy as well), and when he removed it for me i asked him to just rip it off all at once, quickly. it wasn't bad.
