Opinion Polls are wrong these days
The internet seems to be heading one way, which experience tells me, the other way is how it will pan out.
People over 50 are not photo-shopping things, but turning up and voting
Tactical voting will not happen, the right seems to be coalescing in the Tories, and the left vote will be split.
How to fix?

# I'm not sure I want to see it as a movie.
Spielberg's a good choice as he can do sci-fi and nostalgia well, but I can't see them keeping the less mainstream references which were spot on, eg Zork - most geeks with 80s nostalgia know it, but it's not a mainstream reference.

It could end up like Pixels if they try and broaden the appeal.
(, Sun 28 May 2017, 16:19, archived)
# I worry the Hollywood version will be full of Millennial references instead of 80's stuff
featuring the movie American Pie instead of War Games and classic music like Blink 182. As an Audiobook having Wheaton read it really added to the experience as he got to mention himself at one point.

Wait, I take it all back IMDB says "Filming Locations: Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. Also, underneath Spaghetti Junction." That is gonna be some bostin' urban nightmare backdrop, maybe they'll recreate the Bull Ring in CGI how it used to be. The book really hit home with me and the film might hit even closer.
