Well, normally I'm an excellent cook & careful about what I eat- ie. Veggie, no junkfood &c.
However when I'm hungover only fizzy pop, pot noodle & crisp sandwiches hit the spot.
(I am currently munching on a pizza & ketchup sandwich)

I work in coffee
So roasting, tasting and pro-Barista. I used to taste up to 200 cups a day but don't work for such a large company now. If you are behind an espresso machine though and serious about giving out good coffee you are sampling shots all the time to check quality and consistency. I try to stop at around 15-20 coffees a day. Then there's roast profiling, batch control, quality control and offer sampling. Training, teaching and just plain old enjoyment. I'm drinking some of our first direct traded coffee at the mo - awesome stuff. Also getting well into single origin Chocolate... mmmmm

Also- taste 200 cups a day? I know that'd only be a sip or two of each, but christ, surely you'd be shaking by the end of the day. If I have 3+ coffees I have trouble hitting the right laptop keys.

I'd be fairly wired
You tend to go through about half a cup and it is hard work. I find it makes me REALLY hungry. And then I will fall asleep not long after. But it's a small price to pay, I have an awesome job. Awesome.

I went round a sugar refinery in Gujarat, India
After the fascinating process of turning raw cane into nice clean white sugar, it was carried down a long conveyor to the bagging station. A large flock of well fed pigeons was perched above merrily shitting on each and every grain. No strange beauty there. Just a strong urge to not have sugar in my next cup of cha.

That band was Tappi Tíkarrass
at 11 she released a solo album of folk songs
at 14 she formed an all girl punk band called Spit and Snot
and then a Jazz fusion group called Exodus
then a band called Jam-80 which became Tappi TÃkarrass (translates as cork the bitch's arse or something)
She then met up with Einar and a few others forming KUKL
which eventually became the Sugarcubes around 86
