When Bank of America tried to foreclose on Collier County (FL) homeowners Warren and Maureen Nyerges home which they had paid for in full in cash, the couple went to court to prove they never had a mortgage to begin with, won their case, but Bank Of America ignored them and their court costs, so the couple got themselves an attorney and decided to 'foreclose' on one of their offices and sieze their property as means of payment, a totally legal last-resort move on their part.

Seems to just be how banks are now
they do what they like with our money, if it goes horribly wrong the gov gives them more of our money, with which they they award themselves huge bonuses for pissing all our hard earned cash up the wall and change nothing, and give us as little in return as they can legally manage, unless you owe them, in which case, on your doorstep at 5am with their hand out and five attorneys in tow.
Same everywhere in the modern western world, and there is nothing we can do about it, the gov NEEDS them to keep working or the whole system collapses, so we're over a barrel. Of oil, I imagine.

And for those in the UK...
...there's a similar thing you can do. If a company owes you more than about £750 then you can issue a "statutory demand", if this isn't paid in 21 days then you can get a winding up order issued on the company involved which means it has to cease trading and it doesn't matter how big the company is.
Granted, most companies pay up when they receive the statutory demand but it's a very good way of getting your money out of a company.

Vulagtron is awesome...
..I just feel like I'm behind them musically a bit less every time I hear them. I loved Asylum Speakers, but they're very prodigy sounding to me now. I saw them play a half hour set on Brick Lane once. It was awesome.
I love the guys and their rapping, I'm not going to knock the quality, but didn't they used to be hip hop?

My mate is the 24/7 carer for his alzheimers afflicted Mum, saving the government thousands BTW but paid £40 a week for leaving his job to try and keep her dignity to the end out of sheer love for her, cheers gov, but anyhoo, everyday I help him out there seems a constant stream of people both on the phone and at the door vying to be the one taking the money off her that she's worked all her life for, it's terribly depressing, and he doesn't always manage to stop them as he can't be there constantly, which presumably is why she's 'On The List' and why she gets them so constantly, we see stuff arrive we've missed, overpriced products she doesn't need, policies she can't even recall signing for, most impossible to stop now.
CUNTS of the HIGHEST order and they deserve all they get, and I would encourage everyone to take the OP's lead as much as humanly possible, please, as we tend to think it's just the gullible who get what they deserve, but the weak, incapable and mentally vulnerable get it too.
Much respect to JamHamster for being so good at it, I wish I could be as good at that sorta thing and waste their time so well but I'm a terrible liar.

It would be great if people, en masse (and if they had the time) could delay cold callers for as long as possible. You could pick up the phone, talk for a bit and then make out that someone's at the door. Ask then to wait, put the phone off the hook and go for a nice cuppa? ;-)

I recorded the call aswell, probably not as funny as yours, but still. Its kinda scary how they can make you feel like your computer is about to die, and unless you pay them alot of money - it will. I simply pretended they had killed my computer.. they didnt bother me again - strangley.
