Mornin' all...
Didn't really have opportunity yesterday to say I'm back. Managed to get extra phoneline and wire MY PC up to internet. So not forced to use crappy Win98 w/IE to access web.

So what all you folk up to? I'm busy checking my bank accounts online, to make sure I have as much money as I should have...
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 9:42, archived)

They've already blocked my card twice before, after a couple of heavy web spending sprees (entirely on DVDs and books, honest) presuming my card to have been stolen.

So I had to sit down and confirm a list of about 20 online DVD stores as being geniune payments by me.

Question????
I was wondering, when you see past footage of certain countrys in the MiddleEast burning American Flags, where do they get the flags from?

Is there some sort of Starbucks type store that sells them across "infidel" despising countries?
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 1:03, archived)
where do they get the flags from, you mean?
I've no idea.
(, Fri 8 Jul 2005, 1:04, archived)
Not that I would go out of my way to find one,
But I'e never EVER seen any kind of flag shop (except during various football competetions where poundland have them coming out of their ears)

And if someone hand makes them, well golly, it must break their heart to see all their good work going up in flames.

Otherwise get in the practice of saving every 10 minutes as a new file name.
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:52, archived)
Yes I use PS
But I did it last night at like 12:00 and was tired so didn't see what I had done, saved it and now its stuck... I'll work it out some how, probably using the dodge tool and 1600% zoom :(

I second this.
I also tend to not stay on any site that doesnt have a white background for much more than a few minutes.
To me it doesn't look professional. It looks like a childs photogallery hosted on Moonfruit.

Quality.
I mean I didn't mean to sound harsh. It looks great but then so does the BBC News site and I spend atleast an hour a day reading from it. I cannot honistly say I would like reading from said design.

ver' ver' nice
I did a flash heavy thing for a media A level (pffft) and was told off for not making a site viewable to people on dial up

I told him to fuck off, as no one uses 33.6 anymore

I got a U
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:48, archived)
It is certainly pretty
what are you intending to use it for? Has a game kind of feel at the moment.

Are the displays going be flash animated so that they vhange when you move the mouse around that would be good.

Criticism? Not instantly obvious where you would start.

Hope this helps, keep at it.

Well having just left College
and having too much time on my hands till I go to uni, I'm going to do a bit of graphic design and computer building and this is a bit of a portfolio piece. On another note if anyone wants me to design graphics for their site gimme a bell (ill do them for nought if im allowed to use them in my portfolio!)
(, Thu 7 Jul 2005, 23:53, archived)
nice enuff I s'pose
but you won't be able to fit much content on a page.

less is more when it comes to nav, etc, imo.
