Hahaha
I was walking around M&S today, when, from behind some shelves, I heard this massive fart. Burst out laughing, and had to walk away very swiftly!

Here's a pic from the country side of Zurich, Switzerland. Probably hands down, the most beautiful country I have ever the pleasure of seeing. Also, on a side note, I'm in the market for a new digital camera. Does anyone know if Fujifilm makes any decent cameras in the 300 to 400 dollar range?

Personally
I didn't get on with the fuji I had, althought that was a long time ago. I didn't like what it did in-camera (oversaturated, yellow or orange cast, oversharped). Canon.

The only reason
I'm looking for a Fujifilm camera is because I already have a memory stick of decent size for Fujifilm cameras. So unless that memory stick is cross-compatible with other brands of camera, I'd like to just invest in a decent Fujifilm camera.

The Angel Frog ,

Spend the money on a better camera.
As the fuji XD memory is ridiculously expensive. May as well get 4 times the memory for a quarter of the price.

not a good idea to spend $400 on a camera to fit a $35 memory card
(I'm guessing at the $35, but I just spent £20 on an xd card so it shouldn't be too far away)

personally
it depends on what angle you tae your photos at...EG, how much light there is ect... i use a 3 year old kodak cxs600 and its only has 2megapixels, but i can get amazing quality photos from it. *rumages through image banks*

I wouldn't base my choice solely on not having to buy another memory card
I understand the draw but I'd suggest getting a Canon or a Nikon and a new memory card. It'd be more rewarding in the long run to have a better camera.

the fuji's are good 'ship
and spend a few quid and you can get one as good as any Nikon, it's just a pain in the arse that the XD memory costs the earth in comparison.

I think it's one of those love 'em or hate 'em things
Personally I've always found the compact types a bit cheap feeling, clunky and generally less than tip-top. The slr ones seem good, but I've not played with them much. My Olympus is quite user friendly if you want a compact, and xd is not THAT expensive - still less than £20 for a 256mb card

I have a couple of Fujis.
They are good. But if you have $400 to spend then look at a Nikon.
