Last dream I can remember is. I was flying in a jet fighter having a dog fight, but behind my pilots seat there were 2 sofas facing each other, accros between a people carrier and a motor home, I won the fight, then I was a spy, but I realised I was also a dog, and spied by traveling around London in a taxi, and had to got to number 10 to report directly to the prime minister.....

The most interesting dream I can remember from more recently
is I was on a subway train with an SAS soldier, involved in some sort of firefight, so we had to disconnect the carriage the enemy were in. When we got to the surface, it was in Blackpool, and there was a dreadnaught firing on the promenade.
Oh, and then there was one where I was in some sort of special forces squad sneaking around uni, when we were stopped by security.

Yeah, I've heard of something like this.
Except it was sleep for 6 hours, stay awake for an hour then go back to bed. I've tried it and it just doesn't work.
That idea seems valid though. :)

Yeah~ I usually start having more vivid dreams when I'm forced to hit the snooze button a number of times.
Even in five minute intervals I can get some interesting results.

Yes I forget to say....
Set the alarm for a couple of hours before you would have had a full nights sleep.... Also works a treat in you get rat arsed the night before and are incapable of getting up, but you just keep setting that alarm to interupt your sleep every 20 or 30 minutes or so

The Moon is the closest it will be all year.
Click for bigger (50 kb) Taken with a Nikon D80 200mm lens, turned out quite well I thought. Having moved from Manchester (UK) to California, I have discovered there are things above the clouds(We don't really do clouds here), including a thing called the Moon. Who would have thunk it?
It's okay though I have a plan to catch it.

The great Flouncequake of 2011 took LS18, who posted a fair bit.
The aftershocks have rippled into 2012, claiming a few other frequent participants. Twitter also claimed a large chunk of b3tans about 18 months ago. The conversations that used to be held on here were taken elsewhere, and many of those that departed rarely return. Normally, these gaps are filled by new members, but the days of Newbie Tuesday being awash with 'L' plates also seems to have fallen dramatically.
The reasons for this are legion, and I'm sure most people have their own opinions as to what those reasons are.
I'd just be wanking over the pics of the girl wearing latex.

Nobby, it's plain old colouring pencils on sandpaper
Many years ago when I was a starving art-material-bereft person, I couldn't afford to buy proper toothed pastel paper or pastels, so I figured the next best thing was sandpaper. Over the course of six months, I did a lot of messing about and found that 400 - 600 grit black sandpaper gave me the best results, it takes and holds the colour brilliantly and you get this amazing soft texture! Fur and feathers come up really well with this technique, and I've got a few pics on my wall of my finished ones. Sadly my hard drive died late last year, so I only have a few pics of those, but I'll see if I can scavenge one or two up from my ImgageShack account. Thanks for the lovely compliment, too *hug*

Well, I was going to build myself a webpage, bought the domain SandpaperArt for it and all
but that was years ago and I'd say it's lapsed by now so the field is WIDE OPEN
Anyway, I'd rather share ideas than hoard them, screw that for a game of soldiers. A candle is not dimmed by the lighting of another. Share the wealth, I always say.
I'd like to have a go at scratchboarding one day, but again, maybe when I have more time on my hands. I'm still well in love with this drawing tablet.
