Not suggesting I've got nothing else on my mind at the moment...
I think they should do a version for girls*
*comment based on Lady S' comments about how "it's a game for boys", and nothing to do with the asertion that girls shouldn't play it. Which is of course nonsense

just not really real war like so real you're really a real soldier stuff. If you want to imagine you're shooting people for real, join the army and hope to go to afghanistan.

I wouldn't describe COD as realistic in any way, other than the graphics
(Maximinimusyou stick around I'll make it worth your while,

It's all "cinematic" and stuff. Realism can cock off, as far as that game series is concerned.
The multiplayer's damned good though. (Note: comments refer to CoD4 aka MW1)

yeah
but then it's not really real if you're sitting on the sofa playing it in your pants
Last computer game I played was 3 months ago. Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 on the Wii.

COD doesn't interest me in the slightest
Last one I played was COD4, it was fun for about an hour but it just turns into the same untactical run in, blow up everything fest.

It's the multiplayer that makes them such great games
The story of MW2 apparently runs to about 6 hours for your serious player.
But the multiplayer keeps you hooked for months.
I still play CoD4 two years on

I am snubbing MW2 in favour of Dragon Age: Origins
Which is utterly godlike in its genius thus far.

Yeah got a good few hours in :D
Developing very nicely. I have to say it's that rarest of things, an RPG with a seriously rich and engaging conversational element to it. Some quite complex and non-straightforward options which have already delivered a couple of good twists and turns.
Not the usual:
NPC - tale of grief and woe
PC options: 1. Aww there there why don't you sit down, have a nice cup of tea and we'll see what we can do. 2. I keel you to DEATH you worthless peasant. 3. Noncommittal neutral response.

...but that reminds me off a thing on the old MMO game Everquest, where you would attack a small rabbit called fluffy or something similar and it would die in 1 hit. Then in its place a hulking great mutant rabbit appeared and would smoosh you. Happy days. Nerdy days, but happy ones.
