This is a normal post I loved this film as a student.
The constant drinking and drug use seemed to to be nothing less than heroic at the time.

I revisited the film ten years later, and it was like watching a completely different movie. Far from being heroic, it had become utterly tragic - motivated not by joy as I had originally seen it, but by despair.

This is a normal post I think I see what you're seeing, tho I had to blow it up pretty huge and play with my brightness to see it

This is a normal post Now, I know you're just posting an interesting pic, but
- some numbskulls take this sort of thing seriously, so here's how it isn't really a bootprint.

The wheels of the Opportunity Rover are ten inches wide. Compare the wheel prints to your pic's faint artefact.
Your pic's "boot print" is, by a rough estimate, only about half that size in length (a very small shoe), and a very faint impression.
The Rover - adjusting for Martian gravity - weighs about 140lb: around the weight of a slim adult on Earth. It spreads that weight over six wheels, and makes obvious, thick, clear tracks in the dust.
If a person wearing boots stood on the same surface, we'd see a much deeper, more defined, larger impression.

Me, I can't see anything more than a vaguely lozenge-shaped patch of dust among many others in a vast panorama.

This is a normal post did you see the documentary about him,
there's a bit he goes into an antique shop that sells stuff in 5/6 digit price range and he just goes round pointing at things going "I'll take that... and that... umm, yeah that as well," and he seems totally bored.
(, Sun 8 Jul 2012, 20:27, Reply)
This is a normal post I saw that - I believe it was the Martin Bashir interview
I distinctly remember the sales guy in the shop, who followed Michael eagerly, rubbing his hands together all the time. I'm pretty sure they weren't actually antiques but ultra-expensive reproductions, not that it really matters. He (Michael) asked Martin at one point if he liked some giant, gaudy vase - Bashir tactfully avoided saying it was a tacky piece of shit. Michael bought it, for something like $20,000 along with tons of equally vile baubles.

In the same program Martin bluntly asked Michael how much money he had, to which Michael admitted it was at least a billion dollars.

First comment is lully:
"Just looking at these troubling pictures is shocking. And these homosexuals want to tell us that they are not insane or have serious psychiatric problems? This is anti-social behaviour personified. They need to be steeped in the blood of Christ for salvation. God’s soldiers need to rise up now."

Ok that's not entirely fair, but it was quite a messy parade. But I think that's more of a "lots of drunken people in the street" rather than "They've spilled GAY everywhere!"

One for those of use who don't care for all that flamboyance and extravagance and just want equal treatment under the law. Call me crazy, but I think it's a lot easier to be taken seriously when you're wearing more than a thong and a feather boa. I ought to say that I do support those peeps, but I do wish they'd tone down the fabulousness just a tad.

Actually, fuck it. If parades like this one make those empty-headed, hateful bigots uncomfortable then I'm all for them, despite their being not entirely to my taste. People like that almost make me wish there was a God, just so he/she/it could show up and royally smite them for all the things done in his/her/its name.

personally I think that Pride events should be more focused on the loving relationship than the sex. I really don't want to see someone dressed up as Darth Vader with his cock out (seen in Brighton) for any damn cause.
(, Mon 9 Jul 2012, 4:31, Reply)
This is a normal post I think there's some idea that if you ask them to put it away you're being somehow anti gay
But I don't see why homos on parade has to mean cocks n arses myself, it's supposed to be, 'Look we're here and proud, yay!' fun dancing and smiles, not, 'Look at my arsehole and puke you straight vanilla bastards!' and often goes overboard from flamboyant fun to just plain gross public indecency and I really think it does nobody any favours to be quite so confrontational about it.

Last time I saw one in Manchester a few years back that was some dude wearing nothing but glitter and a buttplug up his arse sticking Vs up at anyone who objected, and sorry, but too fucking much for the street, mate, get off the K and put it away.

However, if you want to do anything commercial you can't use any of Valve's models. To be fair, you can't use Source either so it's probably a moot point.

So far I've only seen TF2 examples; I'm sure it won't be long before we see some films set in and around C17.
