If I remember correctly,
about a teaspoon each of coriander, cumin, nutmeg and cinnamon, a few cloves, peppercorns and cardamom pods, and about 6 cloves of garlic and similar amount of ginger. Most of the body of the curry came from cooking lentils, aubergine, sweet potato and onion together.
Got up at 5 But I did manage to have some roast chicken, mash, stuffing, gravy and roast tomatoes earlier im pretty sure thats digesting rather wonderfully

Yep.
Deceptive eyy. It's the nihilism and bitter outlook on life that skews my age and supposed experience slightly.
I remember meeting someone for the first time, this was two years ago now, and they asked me what I did. So I mentioned that I hadn't done anything since my A-levels. They were really surprised because they thought I was 27ish. And this was before I even wore a beard...
(JeruWar and Piss,

You do come across as a lot older.
When I say a lot I don't mean an awful lot, I thought you were my age, maybe a year older.
(Captain Wowcurrently being a cunt in Infamous,
Sun 30 Mar 2008, 0:21,

Even though i've told you I am younger than you by several years? Repeatedly?
Being youngish and a jaded bitter shell of a man is rather rubbish though. All the older bitter shells get the opportunity to have all the relationships and sex and experiences before hand before they rue society. I on the otherhand got lumbered with it young, of all the bastarding luck. Plus it makes you seem quite old.
(JeruWar and Piss,
Sun 30 Mar 2008, 0:24,

Yeah I don't remember everything.
Although you don't help matters, you don't exactly act like a 20 year old all the time.
You need some of those shorts and a skateboard.
(Captain Wowcurrently being a cunt in Infamous,
Sun 30 Mar 2008, 0:26,

I don't think I've ever acted particularly young, although I fear i've probably started acting exponentially older as I age.
I only started doing Received Pronunctiation in the last few years. Although whether that makes me sound older or younger is up in the air, as my Received Pronuctiation voice is considerable higher pitched and less gruff than my natural speaking voice.
(JeruWar and Piss,
Sun 30 Mar 2008, 0:31,

RP is an interesting one, it tends to up people's pitch a bit.
Although considerably easier when you like round here.
(Captain Wowcurrently being a cunt in Infamous,
Sun 30 Mar 2008, 0:33,

I've never really encountered anyone my age, or even vaguely near it, who spoke Received Pronunctiation.
So that meant my school was filled with the usual slangy idiots to feed off of. As such I had to completely manufacture the voice myself, which even more oddly came about through my own self consciousness and was an amusing and fairly charming way to be self depricating if I was nervous of something.
(JeruWar and Piss,
Sun 30 Mar 2008, 0:38,

I learnt it at drama classes.
I meant live round here, also.
What did you base it on?
(Captain Wowcurrently being a cunt in Infamous,
Sun 30 Mar 2008, 0:41,
archived)
Well I tried to immitate Flanders (or was it Swann) from a Flanders & Swann sketch/song.
But after failing to quite capture the BBC English, which is subtly different from normal RP, I sort of gave up mimicing accents for some time. Then I believe I watched all four series of A Bit of Fry and Laurie and Stephen Fry's speaking style and general verbosity just slowly bled into my brain.
I can do a fairly decent World War II fighter pilot/officer accent too. "Righto chaps, looks like we're in a bit of a sticky wicket here."

*shudder*
Listening to voice recordings is horrible. And it really screws with your perception too, because it's hard to tell if you are doing a bad accent/voice or if you are just being thrown off by how awful your voice sounds generally.

My sister's husband keeps bemoaning me, sodding northerners, for using obscure words.
Because apparantly it's just weird to use words he doesn't know, despite the fact that they'd instantly worked out what the word meant due to the context of the sentence.
Anyone who gets actually angry at someone for using the word comestible and makes them look it up a dictionary and then further go on to claim that it's not a proper word because it's 'not in common usage' is a complete unadulterated twat.

On a sort of related note, I just found this whilst organising my bookmarks.
He's a bloody girl is what he is. He'll go over my knee if I see him, the whining little git. Him and bloody Reznor. I adore their music, but...grow up, lads.

What flavour of Dubstep inspired this?
I'm quite keen on Distance myself.
Threadjack: Is anyone a DeviantArt member and willing to make me an account? I believe my ISP is banned or something.

I don't know about flavours.
My mate's a dubstep DJ and gave me a load of CDs this week. I've got so much free music from people this week. I can't wait for the Randomburn. Someone's getting a treat.

i thought that under the catergorical imperative if you murdered
you'd just be saying it was ok for you to be executed as well.

That's only one way he puts it.
You should be able to reasonably will the maxim of your act to be universal law. According to Kant, this is the same thing as saying that humans are not to be treated as a pure means, but always primarily as an end.
You cannot reasonably want murder to be universal law, for obvious reasons.
i've only come across this as part of a paper on the Death Penalty, you see. I'm more of Mill fan when it comes to ethics.
reading a damn good Mill biography ashally. I highly recommend it. s'called J.S. Mill - Victorian Firebrand

"The Germans are disputing it.
Hegel is arguing that the reality is merely an a priori adjunct of non-naturalistic ethics, Kant via the categorical imperative is holding that ontologically it exists only in the imagination, and Marx is claiming it was offside."

why didn't they send him to a Nevada state prison instead of Folsom (in California?)

Did you at least take the opportunity to violently abuse your position and make Harry Potter a raging and abusive alcoholic?

I don't really look like anyone.
Even the picture of the Dorian Gray character I have in my profile doesn't really look exactly like me. Not if I put an actual photo of me next to it anyway.

You should grow a proper meat pie losing beard then.
That will massively skew people's perception of you. If I leave mine for a while and it get's quite bushy I look like a stereotypical russian, which along with a basic grasp of Russian shouting can come in quite handy at times.
