Nicholson's great as always and he gave it his all, but the script was lacking.
The book gave a reason for the stuff that happened rather than just 'man sees ghosts, goes mental'. Thought the TV movie was a bit better, much closer to the source anyway.

The average lifespan of a donkey in a developed country is 27 years
The average lifespan of a UK citizen is around 81 years, wheras the age of consent in Britain is 16 - so around 20% into someone's life they're no longer underage.
By the same standards, the age of consent in donkey years is 5. But the question still remains.... How do you get a donkey's consent?

indeed.
I think you can only tell if a donkey consents by actually buggering it. You'll know right away.

Lets put it another way, if you haven't been kicked over the fence it doesn't mind.
I asked a psychologist friend with veterinary experience and she said a lot of these dumb animals (sheep, goats etc.) will let anyone mount them when in heat... As for buggery, Wellies, leather jacket and helmet might be required PPE. You'd look pretty silly though.

Underage
adult female donkeys can be rather er, 'receptive'. No idea about the gay donkeys, other than some of them are bound to be fabulous.

Here's a top tip:
when posting an image, always gaz the mods and ask them nicely not to FP it, in order to avoid upsetting those 'less gifted' board members.

I think someone's been doing this for me, given my dearth of FPs but unquestionable genius. It's a good thing, I'd have done it myself. I'm thoughtful like that.
