There is a large residential area where I can truthfully say 'I remember when this was all fields'. Scary.

I posted a link the other day to a Mogwai remix of one of my pal's songs
He's released the EP along with the track stems, so if you buy it, you can remix a song, and the best will be released on vinyl along with the remixes by Mogwai, Malcolm Middleton and Miaoux Miaoux.
Apologies if this comes across as spammy, but if any b3tards go for it, I'll apply pressure on my mate for that one to win...even if it is a Dave! speedcore track!
Edit - You can pay whatever you want for the EP and stems btw :)

I think so. If you're using Unity there are lots of changes to that.
And if you want to use Gnome 3 and Gnome Shell you can use it alongside Unity in 11.10, whereas in 11.04 if you install Gnome Shell, you break Unity.
If you're happy with the way your OS is now though, you could wait until 12.04 since that will be the Long Term Support release. :)

Jeeze,
all of that just for Witcher 2? It ran fine on my (feeble by comparison) block, even maxed out. I take it that isn't the only reason.
Either way, that build is going to be immense. I'm still waiting on bulldozer before I bump this one up again.
