incredible.
and, what mofaha said, but x 13. you really could market this (and a lot of your work) if you wanted to.
i wonder what the market would be for downloads of this so that people can take it to local print shops and have it put on shirts/cards/plates and all that. our markets are moving even further toward the sale of digital information and not goods with a physical presence - combine this with environmental concerns (the fuel for shipping, sweatshop labour, the ability to put this on a shirt you own rather than buy another new thing) and the rising costs of shipping and i think there's plenty of room for us to develop this type of market.

Ohh, that's odd...
I'd have thought a GIF was a GIF was a GIF. It's perfectly legible in Firefox but I just switched my rendering engine to IE and, as you say, it's knackred. How queer!
In which case - get a proper browser, sonny! XD
(unstableOvinehas not aged well,

I can't read it in
Firefox on account of the text is tiny. As I said, I don't use the FP and only went to see what Toasty's fuss was. At my resolution it's impossible to read the text and I can barely make it out even dropping it right down to 1280x1024.
(Pasanonic's been known to cause insanity in laboratory mice,

I generally don't go to the FP either
And I'll admit that at 1920x1200 I'm taxing my defective eyeballs to the limit too. I just found it peculiar that the two browser engines show a GIF differently and it's definitely worse in IE - no reason why the shouldn't I suppose. Oh well, it's hardly going to spoil my week.
(unstableOvinehas not aged well,

Just checking that out
and in the IE engine I can't read it at any resolution. The font scaling is totally tits up.

Oh yeah
that's because firefox started scaling pictures with proper antialiasing in a recent version, and IE still does it the old way. I guess the magic donkey uses firefox.

ahhh, I didn't know that
You know that's the first genuine reason I've heard to choose Firefox over IE
(HappyToastGroat froth,
Fri 31 Oct 2008, 19:10,

I still use IE on one machine.
And I absolutely despise browser snobbery but I must admit that after using Firefox ( and more importantly the fantastic addons you can choose ) there really is no reason to ever use ie again. Firefox really does become so much easier to use and wonderfully enough if you are working on content you can get an addon to quickly swithj between renderers so that you can see what it looks like in both. As I said, being a snob about FF is being a twat, especially when idiots try and belittle those who are clever enough to use ie without succumbing to the trojans ( not visiting the porn sites these tits go to is a start ) but personally I'm finding fewer reasons to want to go back since FF3 came out.

And Rob says don't do it. I don't mind people making mistakes, it's when people do it, say they are doing it and then say fuck you when people complain, it's unfair to all the new stuff on the page.
