Yeah it's good to know. Call Enviromental health not the police, they should be open 24/7.
Alternatively I found once, in the past, if you have neighbours that are cunts and refuse to shut up and you're currently looking after the production companies double four way PA stack and two 3000 watt per channel amps with some nice toys attached. You can actually knock pretty much everything they have off the shelves through their wall:P

You know, I never did that in my youth, and I still don't get it, sure I'll party into the morning, but
if I have/had a party I do it INSIDE the house and turn the music/bass-boost down after midnight so my neighbours don't think I'm a cunt.
I would never stick my speakers in the window and blast my music down the street just to piss everyone off and I never will, 'cos I'm not a cunt.

I agree.
Although I have to admit I have in the past but it was on special occasions and I did go round and tell the neighbours and tell them if it were too loud just to call or pop round.
The shelf knocking was actually done using low and sub frequencies so all the energy went into shelf moving so not much went far as sound.

Dance and shout until 12-1am, spliff foot tap and chat to a quieter volume after that...
..I have 2 sets of speakers, one that shakes the place down (Ye Olde Wharfdales), and the others are sorta tinny with very little bass but they sound loud and just as good when you're pissed/stoned/E-d off your tits at 4am, I just switch them over (my analogue stereo amp set up has a switch to do that with no fuss)
For music in the garden I have an FM transmitter and a couple of little FM radios so I can hear it loud and clear without distortion or needing to rattle anyones windows, works really well!
*edit* and a lot cheaper than those new and extremely expensive 'wireless speaker systems' everyone seems to be touting now.

It's not a thousand miles from the POV language anyway. Other than POV appears to be not very good at recursion and you have to use while loops.

Just so. Usually why people resort to external applications.
Rather than writing it in POV directly. Procedural geometry
can get you some wild stuff. Hard bit, much like procedural
texturing, is working out the script. Not much has been done
to accelerate either as of yet. You might want to check out
the original papers and examples for some neat ideas.
