I stumbled across a film by that company called "The Terminators" whilst looking for the new terminator film, it was basically like terminator but with a budget of about 50p...still watched it though

You'd have to be a right numpty to think their 'Mockbusters'
was anything to do with the big budget Hollywood movies they are ripping off. I for one make absolutely sure of what I'm getting before I take a DVD out from Blockbusters and I can tell if it's lame just by the DVD cover - never been wrong yet.

I'd accept that it was fun if he made them
and put them on you tube but he's making a commercial business riding on the creativity and advertising budget of the actual blockbuster. The trouble is, bearing in mind I've seen most of their output, is that there is nothing of value in any of them. They truly are unwatchable to the end. Well, they are for me.

Well I do think he's having fun alright
but it's fun at the expense of the gulliable - his movies are shit because at the most he's likely only to get 4 times as much money back as he put into the project which I was quite amazed that he'd paid $250,000 for one movie. He really ought to take a leaf out of the book of the makers of the Fan Film "Hunt for Gollum" which only cost £10,000 although only 40 minutes long it's an astounding piece of movie art for the budget and totally without doubt an original movie even if it does stylewise lean heavily towards the Peter Jackson movies.
(maidenis filmed before a live studio audience,

gollum was OK
and I think that as the makers are fans of the movies then they were always going to make it fit in with the film's style. That's the sort of thing I mean though. Make a film for fun and personal achievement then give it to the internet for free. Don't blatantly thieve the creativity of others for a commercial venture and claim it's a 'bit of fun'. It's not. It's stealing.

Totally agree, these people are parasites
but then on the flip side of the coin - so is Hollywood. We the viewers need to have good movies but without all the commercial hype and DVDs that don't cost the earth - albeit justified in some degree by counteracting the extent of DVD piracy which would not be so prevalent if Hollywood wasn't so damn set on making vast amounts of cash leaving homegrown leftfield movies to struggle without the resources. I'd be very happy to pay the current price of DVDs if I knew part of that money was going back into helping new movie makers get started.

made by the same people
who made the film this clip was taken from. The asylum. They are well known for looking at whatever upcoming blockbusters are coming out then they rush a DVD out before the main one gets to market. They are often direct rip-offs and they are quite brazen about it. They got away with their last court case but I get the feeling that very soon one of these films is going to land them in bankruptcy.
BTW, none of their films take more than 21 days from first shooting to DVD on sale.

'noon.
I was reading down there about the 'film'. :D I knew you'd love it. I thought that this was a made for TV sci fi original ( low budget straight to DVD and sci fi channel commissions ) but it may not be. Either way it was already going to be a candidate for worst film of the year. Mind you, SyFy have plenty of year left to make me wrong there. Their movies are always of the not even so bad they are good category and go full circle that they are SO bad they are dire. www.scifi.com/onair/?pageid=movies
Anyway, I already knew this was awful but could not resist a film that has a shark pull a passenger jet plane from the skies and Debbie Gibson. Who despite rumours on the internet to the contrary, looks as rough as old boots.
Just got in from the football. I'm off to get rat-arsed.

I think the left arm needs to bulge out a bit more at the shoulder like he/she has got an actual ball socket. Also you would need to get rid of the black line nearer the top so it looks like it's actually the same piece of fabric.

Hmmm. Yeah I don't think the left shoulderpad has the right shape or angles to make it look that shoulder is facing away.
Personally I'd just square up the top of the shoulder a bit more so you've got a little bit of bulge out. I think if you wanted the shoulder to be facing away you'd have to have the left arm pop out from behind his shoulder a bit further down and maybe lose a bit of the left wing behind his shoulder.

UHT is milk murder!
Although when I move out of a flat/ house I always makes sure I leave in the kitchen cupboard some teabags, some sugar and some UHT milk. For this service to humanity I think I should get a knighthood. Coz when you arrive at a new flat, your world in boxes, it's (and it usually is) 10 at night and you could murder a cuppa. You've probably got teabags, can route around in a box for some sugar but you've always forgotten the milk.
