I have a theory about film rights, can anyone with inside knowledge tell me if this is off base:
Studio execs wanted to make a film about a generic robot apocalypse, because they are unimaginative and timid and want a proven story audiences already know. But if they make one up themselves, they run the risk of being sued by one or more of the many existing rights owners behind the multitude of robot apocalypse stories.
So they find some unknown book nobody's read much (in this case, one not even out yet) and buy the rights, then make whatever film they were going to make anyway.
Plausible?

Very good indeed and intersting, Chernobyl happened two months before I was born and I often wonder what would have happened to me if I was there.
Also Ade Edmondson's portrayal of Legasov was awesome, I don't think I've seen him in anything serious like this.

I made some ginger beer earlier in the year.
I opened the first bottle and it ripped the wired stopper off the bottle and sprayed it's contents all over my kitchen ceiling. I now have 5 other bottles that I'm afraid to open but I'm also a bit worried that they'll explode by themselves if I dont open them soon.

Nah it's the faffing about with the secondary fermintation that put's me off
Plus never been a fan of sparkling wine.
If you've not tried one I recommend a wurzels.
Just don't fill the demijohn up past the shoulder until a few days have past because it get's really active in there.
One of my walls needs re-painting because of it.
