Personally I am sick to death of Brussels beaurocrats dictating what shape my oranges should be.
Before the 1970's you could get them in any shape you wanted. Square, triangular arm...er..did i say square. And you could buy them by the fluid ounce or yard for only a shilling and seventeen bob.

So you're just going to ignore the newt laws? You must be fine with them.
As for the Working time directive, keep it in UK law and change it.
Remove some of long list of workers that are not protected by it.
Because we'll be free to do so.

I think the problem is time, will all the existing EU legislation be properly debated?
or will it be down to the government to make the decisions? It's the root of the bonfire of rights fear - that the government will use the lack of time to get everything legally watertight to pursue its own agenda

Welll the "great repeal bill" is supposed to deal with all that.
Not saying there won't be fuck ups because it's a huge job but they not going to sneak in getting rid of the WTD. Look what happened with the NI contributions in the budget for example.

"NI contributions in the budget"
Like I said I hope there's time for proper scrutiny, this was a single issue that was reported on extensively (as it was in the budget) - there was time for public outrage to be registered. I'm not sure how many of the bits of legislation will have time for a proper airing.
Yes, agreed it's the biggest legal job in our country's history.

I "reckon" the Tories have a fucking slim majority in Parliament and won't be there for ever.
There's a lot of tory back benchers that seem to have found their voice recently and are happy to vote against the government. So at the very worst the time directive will maintain the status quo. Get the right people in power and it will be improved.
And thank you for highlighting that you are fine and dandy with insane laws so long as they are shat upon you from the eu.

housing developments get held up for a multitude of reasons
the newt thing is a bit ridiculous but certain nesting birds, bats, any number of other protected species, archaelogical discoveries etc etc hold things up or can developments entirely. But the usual reason is simply local opposition.

That uk law exists from then true, however things in the UK have changed and they're not engendered anymore but the EU law overrides it I guess.

Yeah, but you're a fucking idiot.
There's a housing crisis for the simple reason that the construction industry owners don't WANT to build houses because it's 'not profitable enough at present.' There are hundreds of sites in the UK that HAVE planning permiission, that won't see a single house built until the property developers think they'll get a good enough deal. And that's WITHOUT going into all the 'brownfield' sites that could be developed, but won't. or the fact that 'affordable' housing is seen by the powers that be as something to be avoided at all costs.

I'm absolutely for LGBT rights
Everyone is equal, no prejudice, etc.
However, I think the only exception should be in sports. Men who have the op and compete in women's sport have a clear unfair advantage. If I were a woman in that picture and had trained all my life I'd be pissed.

But imagine how it would be if you were the tall woman and you were forced to play alongside men.
Pretty demeaning for someone who has (more than likely) battled their way through quite a bit both from within and without.
You're not going to satisfy everyone either way.

they are probably doing the wrong thing. You don't spend your entire life doing something you feel really awkward and out of place for intentionally, surely? Fucking do something else, the sport shouldn't be molded around the gender anxieties of some genetically confused people.

Why do we have women only competitions anyway?
Perhaps all sports should be open to all entrants irrespective of gender. I realise those with a Y chromosome would pretty much win everything, but isn't that equality?
Oh, and the same should hold true for the paralympics natch.

I think we should just put everyone into appropriate categories.
E.g. we should test how fast our sprinters are, then make sure only people who can run exactly as fast as each other are allowed to compete against each other.
Maybe this is the human race's opportunity to examine the whole concept of competitive sports and conclude they're much less important, sensible or interesting than we had previously realised.

We live in what should be a golden age of political comedy.
So how come we've ended up with this guy?
Also, from the comments:
The thing is, you deliver our news in a way where viewers actually want to tune in. Not just due to your satiric humour, but because of your brutal honesty and care towards our politics. Honestly, I'm just some teen who does his thing and goes on YouTube; not giving a toss about politics. But your channel is the only thing close to a delivery of news where I'm 100% committed to watching. So in a way thanks for keeping me informed[.] [italics mine]
Seriously, if people think that watching this guy's videos is a way of keeping informed, on the basis that actually watching the news is far too much effort... Fucking hell. "Thanks for caring about things; it saves me the trouble." We're doomed.

I know the NHS has serious problems, but when anyone says it's on the verge of total and utter annihilation, you know they're talking complete shit. Polemics without humour can only be enjoyed by those who are having their own prejudices reinforced.

Fucking busybody SJW twats.
This might be a story if the girls in question were paying customers. But they weren't. They were boarding for free as part of the benefits programme that UA provides their employees.
Considering that there's a very good chance that these girls were occupying seats that would have otherwise gone to paying customers, I think UA have every right to dictate what is and isn't acceptable attire as representatives of the airline (whether the other passengers know they're representatives or not is irrelevant, the appearance of the passengers as a whole will alter people's perceptions of an airline.)
If they want more freedom in their choice of attire, they can bloody well pay for their seats like everybody else. Ungrateful cunts.

Obviously they aren't going to expect the kids to dress up in a suit.
But for fucks sake, When you read that business/formal wear is a requirement, only a thick twat would think "Oh, I'll just dress the kids up in any old shite then."
I'm sure the leggings would have been perfectly fine if they were being accompanied with shorts or a skirt, like they're traditionally worn. The fact that popular culture has spawned this awful trend of wearing leggings as outerwear should not play in their defense.
Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

Well, I wonder how that decision is working out for them right now.
1) What IS the point? Most people who've heard about this think it's pointless, so they haven't really made themselves look good.
2) Who benefits?
Is anyone, on seeing a child dressed in casual attire, going to think "wow, United Airlines HR policy has really gone downhill!" ? Of course not.
Is anyone, on hearing a child has been disallowed from boarding (in clothes that would be considered fine for anyone else) going to think "wow, Unite Airlines are unreasonable cunts!" ? Of course they will.
3) They've just wasted a number of usable seats, and they now have to find space on later flights for these children to travel, so they've cost themselves money.
