it can be because your upload is at too high a resolution. it's very quick even when there's high load - IF you upload a lower res gif

it was to get loads of cargo space by dumping waste, can't remember exactly how but you could dump waste and it would free up cargo space beyond the limit of the ship, it was great, you could fit the massive weapons in the small fast ships
