Just the man I was looking for.
Cheers for that garlic advice. Cleaned my aphids up in a couple of days. Fortunately I caught it early. Weird thing is there's an investation I can do very little about on a sycamore which is next to a grape vine. Vines being notorioously susceptable to aphids but it's never effected.

I didn't actually do it the way TMoC told me to do but it still worked.
I got a shot class, put about a tablespoon of garlic granules in it and filled it up with white wine, I then left it for 12 hours, poured the contents into a small spray bottle (about half a litre) and filled with water. Then after giving the plant a good spray a couple of times a day for a couple of days they all died off.

I actually cultivate them in the garden
Unforunately when I had the problem, from a store bought strawberry plant, the ladybirds had died off and the larvae unhatched. EDIT: I think when I bought them a couple of years ago I got them from that site. THe only trouble is someone press ctrl I near them and they came out black with red spots.

it was a hand written note stuffed inside an official parking ticket sticky envelope thing, moaning about the fact that I had parked in front of someone's drive. The drive in question belonged to the person I was staying with who had invited me to park there. The cheek of it! The ironic fact is that they owned one of the sticky envelope things, presumably from a ticket they had got whereas I've never had a parking ticket in my life. Cunts!
