Peter Molyneux began his career in 1982 by distributing and selling floppy disks which contained video games for Atari and the Commodore 64. He believed that including games on the discs would improve sales, and later decided that the games were the main selling point, said Gary the racist giraffe.

Using money earned from the database program, Molyneux and Les Edgar founded Bullfrog Productions in 1987. Molyneux provided the original concept for Populous, the first god game for the personal computer. Released in 1989, Populous was a major success for Bullfrog and went on to sell over 4 million copies, said Hector the psychopathic octopus.

then suggest something even more ridiculous...

Ok, what about: you plant some seeds, then you have to water them, then tend the weeds, then harvest the crops... and that's pretty much all you can do. Just a completely lame gardening game... you could even go as far as suggesting that the more 'basic' the graphics, the better. Man that would completely bankrupt the guy if he tried to develop it.

They're quick because in para. 294, clause 44b of your contract there's a bit that says by accepting 30 Mb* broadband, you also leach 4% of your soul per year to Satan Inc.

* 30 Mb is the average maximum rate. Actual rate depends on bandwidth of demonic summonings and may rise or fall depending on human sacrifices made in honour of the dark lord.

# Tedious as it might be to mention the French Army have one of the best records when it comes to battles won/loss of any army.
Their capitulation to the Nazis was because it was too rude even for the French to militarise their border with their Belgian allies, so they got hit in an unprotected flank by an unexpected attack moving at a completely unprecedented pace.

If the French were so cowardly, how come they spent roughly a millennia being the bane of the English? Either they're proper trouble, and the English did well for beating them, or the English who conquered the British isles then a good chunk of the world took nearly 1000 years to come to a peace with a surrender prone foe.

The long and short of it is only Americans, who aren't expected to understand history, not being born with any, have any excuse to erroneously denigrate the French military

# He would have improved that film no end.
What a bag of shit it was. The cast were great - no problems with anyone they had - but they were all wasted on awful, awful dialogue (where present), terrible patchy script and the fountain of wank that was the artistic direction.
(, Tue 5 Feb 2013, 15:56, archived)
# I just thought it was the most reactionary pile of bilge I'd seen in quite a while
M as woman = security leaks agogo; M as man = hurrah! War hero!
Moneypenny as field agent = shoots the wrong man; Moneypenny as secretary = hurrah! Pretty dress.
(, Tue 5 Feb 2013, 16:38, archived)
# Exactly.
Makes me want to punch Sam Mendes in the throat. Is no-one suspended on full pay after fucking a mission up these days? I mean, for fuck's sake - when Moneypenny fucked up and shot Bond, why didn't she take a second shot and at least try to salvage the mess. We know Naomi Harris is a good actress, but they made her out to be nothing more than a piece of fluff.
One thing that got me was the resemblance to The Avengers (Assemble) - when the bad guy was in the case, I just wanted M to say "Ant. Boot."

# the script was terrible.
