The continent find us a strange bunch. We will pay top money for a beer that they consider to be standard gnats piss. Trouble is that we get the fighting juice and they indeed get the gnats piss. same with Yank beers. I recall many years ago when we first had Budweiser on draught in one of my father's pubs. At one time I was visiting there was a Yank ( big guy, contractor ) staying in town with his wife. Of course he came to the pub for the bud and was embarrassed that he ended up passed out and me, two thirds of his size went on to a night club afterwards.

once you have all frames in imageready create a new layer at the top of the others,
so it's at the top of the layers panel
then create a new imageready file; 1 px wide 2 px deep, transparent background,
fill in the top px black then click
edit: define pattern
then, back on the main animation on the new blank layer (which should be transparent)
click edit - fill - pattern, and don't click preserve transparency.
It 'should' then put the scanlines over all the frames for you
and there you are.
--------------------------------------------
create a new layer it tatty shop
select a dark colour from your image
draw a 1 pixel horizontal line on your new layer
duplicate that layer
move it down 2 pixels
merge layers
duplicate layer
move new one down 4 pixels
merge layers
duplicate, move, merge, duplicatemovemerge
until you have a single layer where every other line is a scan line
--------------------------------------------
Because they tend to make everything seem pretty dark, I often put an adjustment layer underneath the scanline layer to up the brightness/contrast of all the layers beneath (in the layer menu of tattyslop)
forward-scrolly images:
Ctrl T to transform mode
Hold Ctrl to move vanishing point
Scale image holding Shift and Alt
Press enter to apply transform
Keep pressing CtrlShiftAlt +T to create lots of duplicated frames with scaled in the same way as previous frame

How can I learn from "fuck off you irritating cunt"?

that many people say "fuck off you irritating cunt" about your art. i think they get irritated by the streams of conversation that are, let's be honest, utterly tedious to anyone who isn't either you or KK, and which would be far better kept to gaz or to some chat room somewhere or, failing all that, to /talk. given the quality of some of the stuff you produce (that vector of kk you did a bit back being a good example -- that was very nice work), i don't think anyone would knock you posting pictures on the board. it's just the way the board then fills with stuff that is of no interest to anyone but the two of you is frankly quite annoying.
( ,
Fri 14 Mar 2008, 22:44,

as mofaha has said we have to keep to the board.
There IS the talk board, yes, but it moves far too fast, and the people there are worse than the ones over here.

and don't know if anyone will tell me if i ask but is mofaha kk's brother? dad? what? i've always assumed brother but then the other day either you or her said something like this and i wondered exactly what.
surely gaz would be ok? it's still through b3ta, it's still the two of you. if mofaha's fussed he's normally not exactly far from her to see what the two of you are writing anyway, wherever it's put.

I understand it's irritating, and I really wish there were other options.
But there aren't.
And I really don't want to do anything that would get mofaha angry. He's a good bloke and I don't want to do that to him :(

but anyway, my reply was that i don't understand the issue with gaz either -- or anything, come to that, if mofaha's normally nearby. (cos let's be honest, clansoul or whatever he wants to call himself has been grooming kk like crazy... ;) ) ultimately that's not really anyone's fault but mofaha though, and he's always seemed pretty reasonable himself so i'm not really sure of what's going on.

ultimately it's his call, and I fully respect and share his concern for the welfare of a daughter around here, but this is the internet; and quite frankly he must of figured you are the fifteen year old you say you are, presumably Kitty's age, and not some fourty something no-hoper trying to groom, and allow you two to gaz each other as mates

B3ta is an image forum. You have been told repeatedly that this is not a forum for you to chat up your girlfriend (or whatever she is) but you persist in doing this. It fucks me (and many others) off. You said a while ago that you were going to stop but off you go again.
So... NO, you don't listen. You continue to do what suits you.
