4 episodes down. The first episode didn't start with promise. FAR too much going on for a 45 minute episode, tried to cram too much in.
"ooh, aliens have landed in the first 5 minutes, let's get a merry band together, throw in a bit of teen romance and conflict, go by the numbers for half an hour and end up with a resistance movement".
Would have been nice if that had been spread over 3-4 episodes, building up a bit more slowly.
This being said, however, the next 3 episodes have slowed it down a little, and apart from 'teen angst' moments, it shows a bit of promise.
