previously bought PS CS2, Illustrator CS2, Acrobat pro 7 and Macromedia studio 8 I qualified for an upgrade ( they have two tiers of upgrade, 1 product or multiple products/suites ) and so saved a bit of money but I seriously think this will be the last time.
I plumped for Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium and I am now the proud owner of the following

For the princely sum of £599 plus £125.79 VAT coming to £724.79. That is remember on top of what it cost me to buy my previous versions.
I can afford it and I like to support developers as much as possible but aI think this is the end. I've spent enough with Adobe over the last 10 years. I'm still waiting for my mail detailing my 'free gift' to claim ( no idea what it is ) as was promised when I registered the software on Saturday.

To be honest CS£ is very little different, so much so I find muself not even using it as I have not uninstalled CS2 yet ( too many plugins to migrate and annoyingly a lot that won't work with the new engine )

door so that solves a lot ( solves me taking their faces for a trip round the gravel ) but I also registered with the mailing preference service and went to see the local postmaster telling him that evry piece of litter his postie puts in my box is going back in the post box ( as I always used to do ) because they have to return it to sender and it costs both the post office and the sender. I get zero spam mail and zero cold calls.
Edit:// that's here up North of course. I have not got a chance at the London flat where there can be 30 pizza boys a day vying for my telephone trade with their spam. Next time I'm there and not working I think I shall stage a vigil at the door.
