that if/when you draw an Anime/Manga style picture there are certain constraints. Such as eyes, body shape & huge norks.

I don't there is much freedom you can move around in. If you do stray to far from the path, it wont be anime/manga.
I don't think that she was trying to draw a picture in that style but used something common as a basic to start practising.

Must say though, looks like a self portrait to me. And she does have fine norks in real life.
