My very-long-lived army surplus boots have recently died,
I failed to care for the rubber and the soles perished. Still, 12 years of wear is very good for a pair of shoes as far as I'm concerned. Being UK size 12-to-15 (depending on brand) and not a small man I tend to wear things out fast. must soon replace them, and all will be well.
