What cr3 said.
My brother plays it and it has taken over his life to the degree that he reckons he has to do stuff in the game sometimes, even though he doesn't really feel like doing it. Something to do with a 'guild' or some shit, I don't know.
I do know that if it gets to that stage you'd probably have to re-assess what you're getting out of it.
I'd sooner play WoW than watch a single Star Trek episode, really
but having playing only Warcraft I to III, I wouldn't really know.
I guess it's fun, but I've seen people putting all of their available time in it. People who actually called in sick for work to play WoW. So, yeah, do it!

Wow is without a doubt
the best game on the planet. Granted it suffers from idiot kids and trolls but that's the internet for you. For an experience to engross yourself into in a socially interactive way it just can't be beat. You do have to accept that it will consume you. It does everybody. You have to force yourself to stop and take a break. First year is the worst whilst everything is new and then you slow down but it's just so damn enjoyable. I recently stopped playing for 3 weeks but the new expansion was installed yesterday and i'm off to play as soon as I finish my dinner. you must get at least the original and burning crusade expansion to get the most out of the content, the new expansion can wait until you get near the 55-70 levels. If you can find a guild online made up of mostly adults it can be a very rewarding and fun experience.

then feel free to join my server Aszune when you get the full game ( restrictions in the trial mean i can't help you much plus new game has a lot of lapsed players back and server is full this week ) But if you can get on Aszune when and if you decide to play I can get you involved in a mature guild with experienced high level players who are always willing to help out with items, gold and babysitting in dungeons ( instances )
read an online starting guide whilst it is downloading so you can hit the ground running.

I've never seen the idea in paying for a game, then paying every month for the right to play it.
If you really want the MMORPG experience, hunt around for one that won't steal money from you.
I think Guild Wars is a one off payment, but I'm not into MMORPGs anyway, so I'm not the best person to choose, they might all be shit, but I'd rather not pay loads of money to be allowed to play the damn thing.

Its not very much money
I give more to charities that I can't even remember having signed up to.
mmorpg''s is that when it comes down to it, they are utter shite. Whatever you think about paying to play the fact is that wow has many millions of players around the world. That's a lot of money that is always being ploughed back into development. The game grows all the time. There are other games such as everquest, Eve that are long term in this game but they still can't come close to wow because of the userbase and development.
Lord of the rings online tried it and failed, Conan tried and failed even the mighty Warhammer that everyone expected to be a wow beater is losing it's subscribers back to wow now just months after launch.
The fact of the matter is that if you want that kind of online experience then WOW is the place and if you can afford £24 every 3 months then it's worth it for you.
edit:// I meant to mention Guild wars as well, this, like a lot of other games can be played for free but as with all of the free games now it has subscriber content so basically you can't compete if you can't pay. They are all like this and trust me, I've played most of the more popular ones.

Horses for courses.
I'm not a big fan of FPS but crossovers like Oblivion and Fallout 3 have my attention. FPS bores the stones out of me in single play and online play seems to be annoying teenagers trying to outl337 each other. Not played since Quake 2 and unreal tournament 2. I did enjoy half-life 2 but would never play it online. At least with wow there are a couple of thousand players on a server at any time so you can just tell the idiot kids to fuck off and go do something else. With CS:S and UT you are stuck with the few goons in the map with you.

There are three kinds of
Keyboard mechanism: Mechanical - Each key is a seperate switch. They last longer and click when pressed. Membrane - Rubber sheet with little contacts underneith. Used in most keyboards. Cheaper, lower profile. Not as clicky. Scisor Keyswitch membrane - It's like membrane, but with some plastic stuff. Laptops use this alot.

You are not too clued

properties of plastic?
I am not sure plastic owns any particular abodes. However the proceeds from plastic probably do. Especially as they are tied to oil. There is lots of money in that.
Computer modding, this isn't computer modding. It's dying a keyboard. And cleaning. I think you and I need to talk semantics.

I think you need to stop being concerned with semantics
and figure out why press-moulded polypropylene is going to be able to absorb a dye now that it is no longer liquid. As I said, you need to understand the properties of plastic.
(Pasanonic's been known to cause insanity in laboratory mice,

You now come out with a
A truth I need to know. I know the properties of some things, not others. It appears that plastic is not one of them. I will need to not dye, I will need to cover it with a hardy new coating. Carpaint is my current favorite.
(beardlooking less like a homeless everyday,

and lots of lacquer
as the clear coat is what will give you durability. A coat or 3 of spray paint will just start to flake and chip.
Also the plastic will need to be thoroughly de-greased with an alcohol like ethanol or isopropanol. Then you will most likely need a key coat plastic primer to go on after you have rubbed the whole thing down with a rubber sanding pad.

analine dyes might do it
but as they are spirit based you might run into a few melting problems, the best you are likely to get is a bit of a tint, spray the bugger and have done with it, or stop mucking about and spray something else instead. lets face it, customised keyboards, computer boxes and such look shit.
