yay!
We have two Maine Coon males. The 5-year old is fully grown and about 7kg. And the 18-month old is is taller and longer already, though he still has another 3/ or 4 years to grow yet. They are amazing cats! Ours play fetch and wrestle with the dogs.

Coons are sweet but the hair - it gets everywhere. Everywhere!
And its a heaven for flees too. I think 'the Boys' - as my dad affectionately calls our two Maine Coons - would be much happier with shorter hair. Just think what a little diarrhea does, ever washed a cat's rear? (I thought you had shopped the eyes in your post, but they appear to be genuine - weird... )

don't seem to moult that much, no more than any other cat. Our shorthair moggy is much worse for coating your clothes with hair than either of the Maine Coons.
