For some reason it was only there for 5 minutes then was deleted! but the comments saying her and Michael Jackson killed themselves that's fine! anything to keep us looking at the big picture!!!

basically yes, you're absolutely right. But the Sun didn't become Britain's biggest daily by telling their readers all about 'boring', depressing stuff like famines and war (unless it features OUR BOYS), it's the super soaraway Sun that fills them on all the goss about their favourite celebs!!11!

I got a phone call at about 2/3am my friend Steve screaming "WE'RE IN OBIT"
Obit (obituary procedure) is a little light in radio and tv stations that goes off when someone of major importance dies... It was meant to be used only for the Queen and Prime minister... But for some reason they put it on for her, He panicked as he hadn't had any obit training, I just said switch to slow music and keep an ear on the news feed. It all went well and the station wasn't fined for him playing something inappropriate.
Only other time I am aware it was used recently was 9/11, I was making ads in studio 2 and the BIG GREEN OBIT LIGHT came on, the program controller came crashing though the door, shoved me out and took control of the the output from studio one.... IRN feed was being listened too off air by him... it informed him there would be a live break in feed in 3:40 he quickly scoured the database for a slow sombre song to take him up to the breaking news....
his choice.

ABC and Human League the other week. Some of it came out the year I was born, no less. I still like having the CD to play - mp3 tracks don't have as nice artwork.

you forgot that /board isn't a place for posting things you've found.
As Smash said, putting this on links (or even the link to a screengrab and the website in question) as TJ would've resulted in absolutely no abuse. Or comments of any kind probably. You're right, it's a reasonably amusing mistake, but every other new post on /board frontpage at the moment is the result of someone drawing or shopping something themselves. One of these things is not like the others

Feel free to add suggestions/requests/contributions in that thread.

I'd go with grey, but that's just me (in my advancing years).

but the problem there is that grey wool can often have shading differences in it. i think it's something to do with the dye. if i do go with grey, i'll have to buy all i need in one go, so it's all the same batch number and there's more chance of the shade matching

That was a proper gayshift dance-off, that one.
I've only got about 100meg on my phone too. This is one reason I only use it to check email and settle pub debates with the wisdom of Wikipedia - B3ta would murder it immediately.

An achievement in itself. Only Terry Gilliam could pull such a film off.
